  1. Thanks Zentrandude im now blind becuase of that but thats not the bad part now that picture is mentaly burned into my brain.

thx its my job as a super villian to demoralize the world with that lady and my army of miltron clones and william hung/john tesh bands

  2. They should get Miltron to host ET... better yet get hostess Maria Menounos in a tight Tron suit....  :p

i'm down for seeing that chick in ANYTHING tight fiting :D:D:D:p

the bathing suit seems to be tight :p she proly would be happy to go out with miltron.

you didnt want to see the one in the shower, she was big enough to make the shower look very tight to fit in.

  3. And it won't fit in my pockets and will most likely suck batteries the way the stars of Vivid.. well.. you know..

Ill go Nintendo DS thanks. Pocket sized, something different, GBA compatibility, probably less than half the price.

    It wins hands down.

its already known the battery life is something not to be proud off. you need something short of a micro fusion reactor to make it truely portable.

  4. Ah, THAT Tomcat. One of the very few museum F-14's that actually did fly with the squadron it's painted as. (90% of all F-14's in museums wear either VF-2, VF-41, or VF-84 markings, even if they didn't fly with them). Though it didn't fly with VF-84 in the configuration it's currently in. (It's in final 1990+ config, not 70's/80's when it was with the Jolly Rogers)

That F-14 is very famous--it is the subject of the famous painting, and was about the most-filmed plane in "The Final Countdown". Note that I can't find any reference to it being AJ202 as painted, only AJ204 and 206. Will have to watch movie more closely, see if I can find which it was marked up as then.

As for P-51 and A-10: simply becuase they're the most common planes at airshows. If there's more types, you'll get a bigger formation.

PS--font's all wrong for the "VF-84" and bureau number. Not that BOEING cares about how Grumman painted up their planes.

if the painting i have is accurately made by the painter in 1980. the f-14 paint configuration is didnt change much. only thing i see diffent the real one doesnt have the uss nimitz on it and the black around the cockpit area is not on the painting.

  5. Well, I'm glad that I kept my Valk in it's original box (albeit I did it for collection purposes, not for any security reasons). I would have hated to have had any further troubles with security over an open toy. At least in the box you could see the pictures and everything that tells you that this is some kind of a toy.

Again, what I found strange is that my laptops and media gear made it through without so much as the blink of an eye. That even after my wife's laptop had to be scanned twice because it is an old army surplus unit and it is made out of some kind of metal (they just asked her if it was a military model and she said yes and they let her go without any further hassles).

the outer case or the inner mesh that surrounds the internals? miltary laptops doesnt realy have any exoctic materials just more shielding and cusions to survive outdoors.

  6. dry spell here cuz yamato is busy making me the 1:24 vf-1 S all made with milled titanium peices and crystal lens at all the parts with mini jet engines from a rc jet to complete the looks.

  7. Wow..you're lucky they didn't open it up and notice all the missiles :p

lol good thing you didnt spell out gbp imagine the look on there face or even yours if the got nutz and had the bomb squad blow it up.

  8. They allow for 20/40 correctable to 20/20.  Now, for my aviation cruise this summer, I found out that I had 20/20 in my right eye, and 20/25 in my left.  Guess what?  I got slapped with a pair of glasses. <_<  Seems that if you're in control of a multi-million dollar piece of equipment, they want vision to be the least of your problems, even if it's not really a proplem for you.

Hmm... Given that my vision is 100/400 when uncorrected, I guess I should give up on being a pilot, eh? :p

100/400? how thick would the glasses be?

  9. my big complaint with GBA games are either they look great and are super short or they look blah and have longer game play and are so monotonous... like FF tactics.. great game but lack of variety really hurt it, IMO...

not to hijack the thread too much but looks like the japanese version of ff 1 and 2 is out for gba. looks like you might got your wish

  10. i remember my dad talking about an incident with one of those anti sub choppers back in the earily 80/late 70s that lost all its landing gear stuff and was getting low on fuel. if it was to land it would go on its side and the blades would breaks and go everywhere injuring or killing anyone near by. so my dad and one of his buddies took a bed matris and i think 2 trucks to form a giant U shape area to hold the chopper up right long enough for the blades to slow down.

  11. not bad on the mechanics your doing to it. but man that test bed seen better days, like someone vomited paint on it then threw it in a food processor to remove the paint.

    Edit:
