Those were plastic molded replicas or something like that on the back in that episode. As soon as the Varuta showed up he dumped the prop. They looked like crap on the -19 to boot.

I never quite got that. There were so many VF-1's actually on M7 (in perosnal collections) they could have just used one of those for their little movie. But then again, Basara wouldn't have been able to do his song routine during the fight.

they do look like sausages stuck to his forehead but when i saw it on tv i tought its a realy bad satan pimples.

i believe that todays radar would be very differnt than the the macross 2040+ radar. instead of shooting microwave energy and listen for the reflections i see it of more a higher tech like a system that senses the material or the gravity or anything we cant detect in a small unit today. active stealth would pretty much be the only way to defeat a system thou passive may work for so much the passive design would be diffent too. why make a off angled bird when the baddies sensors can sence the gravity it has.

Is THIS rendering based on that cutaway picture of the GU-11? I remember a while back I think Graham or Shawn posted a nice cutaway of the GU-11 with the ammo clearly visable in a wrap around belt.

i belive the minimum requirement to be a "real collector" is selling your car and 2 mortgages on your house to finish grabbing up 3 or 4 of every item. 3 for each mode in the glass box and 1 mint in box locked up in a bank deposit box (if they are that big).
