Because those preview samples are obviously hand picked out of a batch of low-volume production probably made by someone more competent than the average chinese worker. When all those acceleration and top speed stats are made for cars they also select the cars with the best QC, smallest panel gaps and best tolerances. Maybe even blueprint all parts so that everything performs the best it can.

The connector is somewhat fragile and your VF will tend to tilt a bit when you touch it. As long as you don't really bump into it it should be relatively secure against falling.

Just as a warning. Only use the decals and spend alot of time on the model if you rarely if ever plan to transform them. Because some will always get damaged. Especially the shoulder decals will likely rip as they will scratch on the backplate. The decals on the shin armor will also scratch against the leg fuselage when you try to open them. Generally you have to be extremely careful when transforming. Also I have learned from my stickered Alto that they actually don't look worse than the decals. The lack of the clear decal paper sheet looks better on the large stripes. Only the numbers markedly look better as decals.

You can bet that they will first try to reduce their pre-fix stock before they even touch the Max shoulders. So wait at least another month before you order those new ones.

If your decals rip then you tried to move them without sufficient water as lubrication. Just put the decal on the model and then wet your finger and touch the decal so that one drop of water transfers. That way you can pretty much freely move it around until it fits perfectly. Remoisten if necessary

I guess you would have to take it apart and put some really heavy lead weights into the feet to make it stable with arms stretched out. Maybe even put some in the rear booms to shift the COG further back.
