  3. Just thought you all might like to know that FanSub for episode 21 is out now.
  4. Thanks Hikuro and Beltane70. I guess I will continue d/l Seed Fansubs to keep it uniform since there isn't much difference. It looks like Ep 20 for Seed Fansubs is finally out
  5. Out of curiosity, which fansub is better? Seed Fansubs or AOne? or are they almost the same? Thanks.
  6. Thanks. I wanted to do it when I finished it but ran out of time. Hopefully will have some time soon to do it
  7. Hi, Just completed my first MG kit. Overall this is my second kit that I have done and this time I decided not to paint it except for areas where needed. I also panel line it with a Gundam marker. Overall, pretty happy with the Aile Strike and would appreciate it if some of you could give me some feedback on it to see where I can improve on. Thanks. Here's the first pic.
  8. Not sure whether you saw the post correctly, but its suppose to be an email address and not the HLJ links that another member posted. According to DragonCeaser post, you can email Bandai at this address Bandaiactionkit@bandai.co.jp and tell them about your broken part and they will contact you back on it. No harm trying it out
  9. unless i get a new one.. and i dun even have the part. Hi, I don't know whether this helps, but maybe you can get that part from Bandai. Have a read at this post and try the email. http://robotjapan.proboards12.com/index.cg...display&start=0 Good Luck. Edit: The email in that link is Bandaiactionkit@bandai.co.jp
  10. The Freedom looks really nice. Makes me want to assemble mine now, but just finish my Aile Strike and have no time now. Don't know whether this will work for you but it did for me. However, I didn't paint the MG Kit except for a few areas only. I just assembled a MG Aile Strike, will post pics on the weekend. What I did is use a Gundam Marker on the areas I wanted to panel lined, then use a tissue with thinner (I use Tamiya Acrylic Thinner), and gentle rub over it. For areas where the line is thin the Ink will stay there and will leave a very thin line. For areas where the Ink will not stay, this is what I do but beware one slip and u gonna hit urself on the head. I use an exacto knive and using the pointed end go over the panel lines with it. Then use the marker and the ink will go into the lines and use the thinner to rub the access off. I learn this from reading it from another forum. Can't exactly remember where now. Just have to be very carefull when you do it as I was not very patient and went off a bit in some areas.
  11. I had done the same in several kits, It is a very good way to obtain thin and soft pannel lines, just dont brush too much paint on a same area or the panel lines will end washing all over the model. Sort of bleeding. Thanks both for the tips. Will try that on my Red Astray kit. Not brave enough yet to attempt it on the MG kits. I sorta did that on the Wing Zero but like you said it bleed so I tried to convert the bleeding to weathering
  12. Thanks for the replies zeo-mare and F360. I have the Wing Zero in MG just sitting in the box waiting to be build. But I will probably start the Aile Strike first. I'll probably be brushing but may pick up some spray cans for the white parts. For the HG Wing, I used a mix of flat and gloss paint but will be picking up more flat paints later on. The wing area actually turn out worst at first when I just used the Gundam fine marker as the only one I had was black. I tone it down a bit but still pretty thick by going over it with a brush again with white paint but making sure there wasn't much paint left on the brush so that the lines would not have been covered. I think the HG kits is probably harder to paint than the MG as some parts required 2-3 different colours and becos its smaller its harder to stick masking tape on it.
  13. Hi, Just started to get into Gundam and will be hoping to build some MG kits. Before I go ahead I would like if some of you could give me some feedback on the 1/144 HG Wing Zero Custom kit I built, so that I can decide whether to paint my MG kits of just panel line them. I don't really have much experience at all building any kits as I used to only build Car Kits which basically you just spray paint the body and paint some of the other parts. For this Kit, I completed using basically brush paint and Gundam marker. Was a bit lazy to sand off the excess sprue but will definetly do that on the MG kits. Thanks.
  14. Just got my Roy from Neova. Execellent packaging (heaps of bubble wrap) and super fast delivery. Shipped on the 3rd Dec received today the 8th Dec. Thanks Neova. Ok back to the topic. So far two QCs problem on mine. Firstly Crooked Skull on tail fin. Not as bad as the first issue but it's slightly crooked. Guess Yamato gone back to their old habits. Secondly crooked pilot seat, like some reported on the Max 1J. Other than that everything seems fine. Cross finger and hope nothing else.
  15. Valk-1S is secretly contacting the seller to sell to him before Kensei picks up on Sunday Only Kidding!! Good Idea on buying an extra Roy to use for trade but not to sure whether there will be many people out there with a Max who are willing to trade next time. Max seems to be getting harder to get but you do see once in a while some members selling them off. Omni had one for sale about a week ago on another Board. Very good price but unfortunately its sold now. Around less than US$100 before shipping but not to sure whether he was willing to ship overseas. Here's the link: http://greattoys.proboards18.com/index.cgi...&num=1098116246
  16. I am sure Tisc does have the best prices but on the web auction, it is different. Hey no big deal. It is the law of supply and demand. You willing to pay that much for a scare item? Anyways, he is trying to make some money. Sometimes, I feel bad about getting deals because they are trying to make a buck but at the same time, I want to get the best deal. Still $300 for a VF-1S Hikaru? I wouldnt do it. I mean his VF-1J hikaru is $120 which is about right. He hasnt gouge everyone on the other valks. Now I have been to other websites and I see ppl charging $250 for VF-1J FPs. Man, that is not cheap. I can only find one that $186 USD at the current exchange rate. What do you guys think about that? Good or bad? I'll be getting 2. I misssed out on the last Max 1A for the same price, so I'm not taking any chances on this one. A VF-1S? Or Max Vf-1A? You were not being specific. I assume VF-1S Roy since this is the topic. If I were you, I would wait. VE now has them at $136. 2 Days ago it was $125. Still the prices is cheaper than what is out there. But hey, who am I to tell you how to spend your money. Sorry, since we were on the topic of the Hikkie VF-1S I was talking about that. Valk-1S took the Max off the guy before I had the chance to know that it was claimed! Grrr Me??? He had another one left when I bought it so wasn't me who took the last one Better get the last VF-1S Hikaru from him before someone else buys it Don't worry won't be me as I got one already, but I was tempted to hehe!
  17. It seems like a few websites are now taking pre-orders for the Roy. Here are those that I noticed: 1) Valkyrie Exchange 2) Neova - Will confirm final price 3) Toy-Wave 4) Hobby on Sale
  18. My Update: 1/48 = 8 (5 Normal 3 Supers) + 3 Fast Packs 1/60 = 5 + 1GBP Armor
  19. From Hobby Search FAQs. You may be able to use this against them since you orders were suppose to be two seperate orders and their FAQs state they don't combine orders.
  20. It seems pretty much right. 10 CMS = 110g x 10 = 1100g base on HLJ http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?CMS65006 1 Valk Stand = 640g base on HLJ http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?YMT00033 Total weight before packaging is 1740g. For that many items packaging will prob be at least 500g which will take the total weight over the 2kg mark where SAL will kill you. SAL is only worth it when it's below the 2kg mark. Hobby Search shipping rates for SAL: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/dlv_cost/parcel.html Your best option was to refuse the package and return to sender and ask for a full refund as you have informed them that you have cancelled the order. If they don't you could inform your CC company as you have a valid reason. For damage packaging, Hobby Search FAQs said to inform your post office. I don't know what good that will do. But the thing is that your items were not damage, only the boxes were. So I don't think there is really much you can do about it.
  21. SAL becomes expensive once it passes the 2kg mark. I too just ordered from them and the shipping cost was over what I expected. I was expecting the packaging to be an extra 0.5-1kg but it was over 1.5kg. The total weight according to the EMS slip was 3600g and the way they package it with all the excess cardboards, they could have at least cut the extra 100g to reduce my cost by 700 yen but they didn't. Also they never replied to any of my emails and only reason why I got my item shipped was becos I called them up. For those thinking of ordering from Hobby search, don't order from them unless you defintely don't mind waiting and you definetly won't cancel your order as you probably can't since they don't respond to your emails. Probably only safe way to cancel is to call them up.
  22. Babelfish translation of the site Rusty posted which seems to confirms with Neova that quantity is going to be limited. 30 November 2004 is the reservation dateline and release date is december 2004.
