For mine all the right ones are crooked except for the 2nd Issue. The left I never really check but I remembered seeing some of them and I am pretty sure they are straight. I think I better check later, I remember a QC where someone's Max was missing a Skull printing.

Anyone who has a straight tailfin skull for the 4th Issue Roy, could you please post some pics. I am curious to see how straight it is. Edit: Look at the pics again and the four is definitely worse compared to the third for mine. I wonder whether Yamato have just one machine doing the Tampo printing for the tail fin or they have two, which could be why some got it straight some don't.

If you got it very recently, chances are it's the 4th Issue, but there is also a slight chance it could be the 3rd Issue. I guess if Yamato made any reissues for Max or Hikaru, chances are we may also get crooked skulls for them since they can't even fixed it correctly for the 4th Issue Roy.

So far I have only open the MK-II titan. If i open up the others will take more pics. Thanks. Yup got it, but I am somehow lazy to put stickers up Plus I don't really like the LOWE Stickers.

Thats bad to hear I'm too lazy to take mine out of the box to check for those. Oh well, when I got time will do that.

Just got my gold marker and finished my Red Astray last weekend. Here's a pic of it. Will appreciate some feedback as this is my third Kit I have built. Just did minor painting with panel lines.

Here is a picture to compare all four issues of the Roy Skull on the tailfin. You will notice 1st Issue is the worse, followed by 4th and then 3rd.

The thing with the crooked skull, it's not very obvious like the 1st Issue. You will probably really notice it only when you compare it to a straight one. Just like the third issue some ppl said theirs were straight and some said not. But I could be wrong and some are actually straight. If I got time I will try to take pics of all four issues over the weekend to show the difference. But the fourth issue paint job sure seems better than the third.

Nope, 4th Released VF-1S Roy did not come with the extra hands. Everything exactly like the 3rd Issue including the slightly crooked skull on the tail fin.

Okay, Just got my 4th Issue Roy and looks like Yamato still haven't gone to fix the crooked skull. I think it could be worse than the 3rd as the 3rd if I recall you need to look at it closely. But could just be very well be the same. Will compare it later at home if I got time.

Sorry to hear that. Hope Ken will be able to help you out. For those who are like me where we have no space to put the Valks out but to keep it in the box for the mean time, here's a list of things I normally check when I get my 1/48 to make sure nothing missing. This is just my list, there coulds be other stuff as well, but with these items you don't need to remove it from the box. 1) Heatshiled present (look from bottom) 2) Tow Bar in front wheel (you can see the end of it sticking out slightly from the closed landing doors) 3) Backpack Antenna ( you have to fold the backpack up) 4) Backpack Hook (if missing you will notice a gap) 5) Chicken Hands (once you fold the backpack up you can open the hand compartment) 6) You got one of each arms (some member in the past got two left or two right, so you can check by looking at the screws position - they should be facing outwards) 7) Leg pieces (when you fold the backpack up you can have a look at the inside part of the legs. I remember a member had a small piece missing there before) Gunstrap Rings Okay I think thats most of it. Can't remember any others.

In my opinion, I don't think there will be two variants. This is it for the CF. If you look at all the places carrying the CF they are the same. Some of them call is Limited some don't. eg HLJ doesn't say anything about it being LE, while Hobby Search and Amenbo calls it Limited.

I just read in a dealers board that the CF is limited and supposingly it's even more limited than the LV. But as we all already know some places calls it limited some don't. Anyone can translate what it says.

I don't think there are two versions. This is either a Limited Version or it's not. Hobby shops like Hobby Search advertised it as Hobby Show Limitation goods. And what they have is what we are getting. For what I have read the CF was only allowed to be ordered in the Hobby Show. So pretty sure, no two variants, as all shops selling it have the same stock whether they call it LE or not.

VF-1S Roy is out in Japan today. Just check HLJ and Hobby Search and they have it restock.

According to a supplier, Yamato HK will release it on the 17 September.
