  1. There are quite a few places taking pre-orders. Blackaces - see Dealer Announcements, Samurai M - see his website, VE - see dealer announcement and website, Hobby Search - 5% off (they have problems at one stage but I think they have resolve it as the last time I ordered they were pretty fast) and Amenbo - 10% off. I agree with Haterist that the CF should be around when they actually get released. But how long it will be available will depend on whether Yamato will put the LE on it or not. For normal run, it will be there for a while as I don't think the CF will sell as well but like BigKid24 said if productions is less and demand is high it may not last too long. Also if they do put the LE on it, ppl may buy it fast hoping to gain later on like the LV or for those who don't want to miss out on it. Also, be aware that the GBP may come out at the same time and if there is no bundle, the CF will be the only readily available Valk to dress the GBP with. The 3rd Issue Roy lasted a while, still available at some places, but the prices kept going up as time passes by. This is just my opinion. So preorder if you definetly don't want to miss out. If not just keep an eye on it to keep yourself inform of whether it will sell well or not. When they come out and if they are going fast be prepare to order quickly. If slow then take your time but don't leave it too long.
  2. I know the feeling so far I have only transform two of my yamatoes my konig monster in monster mode and 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru in battroid mode the rest all kept in boxes Same here too Only transformed my first Issue Roy. Will be going to put a recast head on him and use the original head to make a VF-1S Max The rest are in the box. But I have check them to make sure nothing missing.
  3. Last Variation doesn't mean they won't do re-issues
  4. I think we all figured that out lol There were some speculation there may be two variations a LE for the Hobby Show and a standard production. Not everyone thought it was one or the other. And lol to you too
  5. I dont think the Low Viz did well if something does well for a maker, it should sell and sell and sell putting a limited production on an item that gets finally sold out after time does not indicate doing well remember, the Low Viz was not snapped up within days and if Limited Edition does well Yamato will follow suit to come up with Limited Editions after Limited Editions My sentiments Noel You got a good point there. Forgotten how I got my Low Vis months after released at sellers normal price still. Maybe Yamato just making used of the current hype of the term LE. Ppl are now crazy for the LV due to it being LE and not being able to get it unless they are willing to pay more than 3 times the orginal amount. Putting an LE on the CF will immediately put into ppls mind about the LV and that if they don't buy it now it will be gone and will cost more down the track.
  6. Could be LE as a marketing gimmick. The 1/60 CF didn't sell to well, so Yamato may put a LE on it to sell better learning on how well the LV did. Besides a LE CF can have more in production than the LV. As long as production is set to a fix number.
  7. After looking through numerous Japan websites, in my opinion its either a LE or it's not. My reason is that in all the Japan website I've seen, release date is August and none of them have put up both variations. It either says LE or it doesn't. The other possibility could be initial orders will be LE and later orders will be normal production.
  8. Ok ppl, Amenbo has it up too and it says Limited Edition. Shipping in August. So either two variations or all are LE. http://www.amenbo.com/cgi-bin/list/toys/macrross/new1-e.cgi Another website in Japan stating Shizuoka hobby show limited commodities. http://store.yahoo.co.jp/tj-grosnet/tym002.html
  9. Here's a Japan link on the CF which states August release too but bablefish say Hobby Show Limitation again. I noticed from a couple of websites that shows the CF and having translated via bablefish, mentions last variation. Could it be the CF will be the last type of VF-1 to come out for Yamato. Here's the link. http://noda-ya.com/html/syohin/figure/02000233.htm
  10. I found a website that have posted pics on the hobby show. But no pics on the CF. Did see a VF-0S with the Ghost probably from Hasegawa. And also the PG Strike Gundam with all three add ons. http://pam.main.jp
  11. Just be patient. The Hobby Show is on now, so we should get some news soon, hopefully.
  12. Hopefully will get more news in the next few days as the Shizuoka Hobby Show is running from May 12 to 15.
  13. Okay, this is an email I got from HLJ. So I don't know whether it is just a normal production run or there's gonna be two different releases. So best to wait for more news before you order.
  14. This is an email I got back from Hobby Search regarding the CF. I gonna try asking HLJ whether it is limited or not. Will let you guys know if I get an email back from them.
  15. ouchies but...but...i don't wanna order one right now Thats from Hobby Search website. I did a Bablefish on their Japanese site as well and it does say Hobby Show Limited Item. But remember HLJ has it too but do not say it as being limited. Need more confirmation first before we know for sure. However, if you look at the CF it does look special to be limited. Notice the Panel lines that only the LV had. If there is two versions I would like the limited if it is the one on the pics.
  16. Ok, I just got my friend to translate the Japanese website of Hobby Search. He said it says that the CF on Hobby Search is a Hobby Show Limited Edition. Production will run after order is taken. Nothing much other than that.
  17. I am trying to understand what Hobby Search is trying to say in their description of the CF. From the sound of it, it seems like there may be 2 versions of the CF. The CF will be mass produce for the market but what Hobby Search is having for preorders are a Hobby Show Limited Edition. It sounds like that but I could be wrong. Hopefully more info will pop out to clarify this. I believe there is such a thing as Hobby Show which is run in Japan.
  18. I was browsing the web looking for more info on the 1/48 CF and I stumble across Hobbyonsale web page and they restocked the VF-1J Hikaru in both the normal and super. If there is still a supply of 1Js out there, this may lessen the chances of a Bundle pack unless the bundle comes with a CF. Here's the link. Prices not much better than TINSINC though. And I don't know how good their service is as I never ordered from them. http://www.hobbyonsale.com/angolz/productD...ductID=YAM00026 http://www.hobbyonsale.com/angolz/productD...ductID=YAM00025
  19. I wonder whether there's gonna be two version like the 1/60. Just out of curiosity, is there such an event as 'Hobby Show' in Japan? I noticed the pictures at HLJ shows that the CF have panel lines dones. Hmm, sounds like the LV. Hopefully there won't be any limited edition and the standard run will have panel lines done.
  20. Pictures out at HLJ now. Also Hobby Search taking preorders but the weird thing they put it as Hobby Show Limitations Goods. Anyone know what this means. Forgot to put the link. http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/GoodsDetails_e.a...nce_right_e.asp
  21. My Update: 1/48 = 8 (5 Normal 3 Supers) + 3 Fast Packs 1/60 = 5 + 1GBP Armor Update: 1/48 = 10 (7 Normal 3 Supers) + 4 Fast Packs 1/60 = 5 + 1GBP Armor Update again 1/48 = 14 (11 Normal 3 Supers) + 5 Fast Packs 1/60 = 5 + 1GBP Armor
  22. I wonder whether its gonna be a large production or just a small one as the 1/60 CF didn't do to well. If large, this could be the first 1/48 to have a sale at HLJ , if small better get one before it runs out. Sine the expected release date is close to the GBP rumoured released date, I wonder whether if they do make a GBP Bundle pack it will come with the Hikaru 1J or the CF now. It would make sense with the Hikaru 1J, but Yamato may do something different. Anyway, I am Happy the CF is expected to come out and coming from HLJ, I am pretty sure this won't become Vaporware. Now to think of how many CF to get
  23. It will depend on whether Yamato thinks a Re-Issue will sell well again. For those of us who already bought them, may not get anymore, so a re-release may not be worth while for them to do just to accommodate for those who miss out in the past. It will depends whether Yamato will expects a huge demand on it or not. If yes then they might. If not then prob not. Like for me I have been buying quite a few lately, but I don't know whether I would want to get more if all they do is release the same thing. Just my opinion. Let at least hope that they will reissue the FPs again but I think they actually did at one stage already as my first two FPs had velcro tabs and those I got later on did not have it. So Kensei and Godzilla, make sure you let Yamato knows there is a demand for Macross still by clearing out all the GBPs as soon as they come out
  24. Check out Hobby Search as they normally post the Instructions Guide. http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/GoodsDetails_e.a...hop_right_e.asp Hope thats what you looking for
