  1. ivanov's sv has never been re-issued/fixed. it's a shame because it's such a beautiful mecha. sorry dude.
  2. the shoulders on my reissue 0s are fine. however, it left foot is crooked
  3. more tampo printing would be nice as well. here's to hopin'
  4. yeah that'd be cool but unless those are top coated they scratch off kind of easily
  5. yep. the version that comes with the scaffold cage is the revision. i was curious if the new kit was that much better. the knee articulation and transformation on the previous one is horrendous
  6. he is right. i really love the design of the pg 00, but in reality it's just a big mg. i have had absolutely no problem with the plastic being brittle (thank god). the ratcheting joint system is great for holding poses but it is a huge pain in the a$$. i did enjoy building it. i love the way it looked after i completed it as well....anyway. just my two cents. i think bandai will make a pg 00Q next. the way the frame on the pg00 is constructed suggests they will use it for something else. some gundam designed to have a light in the chest @VFTF1 how's the new unicorn kit?
  7. to tell the truth it was a toss up for me between the noir and the blue frame. if you check out rrobert184's youtube page he tells you where to obtain instructions on how you can build the blue frames tactical arms set up with the left over parts from your red frame (of course you won't have the effect parts, but oh well.). personally i like the blue frame's set up better. here's a link
  8. lookin' really really good. i am in the process of building the blue frame. technical frame on these little guys, huh.

    Jetfire

it's impossible for me to be 100% sure. however, i received it for christmas the first year it was released in the states. i will say this. even as a small child i was fanatical about keeping up with accessories and keeping my toys in the best condition possible. so if the version i received came with missiles i would have remembered and would still have them. if you know of any markings i should look for to determine the version i have tell me and i'll check it out and hit ya back. maybe that will give you more of the info you seek. i wish i knew more/could offer more assistance

    Jetfire

nope. no missles with jetfire. i still have my original. the only other accessory besides the basics (super parts and gun) was the ole arm clip to store his blaster
  11. should have been cast in smokey acryl then just painted the missiles white
  12. that is a fantastic idea. from your mouth to yamato's ears!
  13. yeah. i feel your pain. i had to pay 96 bucks for ems shipping....lord. but damn i can't wait to build that big ole robot awaiting a yammie elite seeker as well
  14. i use an epoxy putty (green stuff/grey stuff) for a lot of my fixes such as this. if you aren't familiar with it the putty is two parts (like the gel or liquid versions). depending on how much of each part you use determines how ridgid or pliable it sets up. it's easily sanded and very forgiving. it is also extremely adhesive when workable. i used it to fill the cracks on my roy 1/60ths shoulders and even with such a small crack the putty held fast. shoulders are perfect now.
  15. interestingly enough i got my back plate to sit flush with no problem what-so-ever. however, i am still having trouble with the legs. could someone who has gotten this process to work snap a photo with the legs positioned correctly with the belly plates open? it would be a great help.
  16. yes! and thank you mog! that helps a lot, but what i'm REALLY needing is a pic with the legs positioned correctly before the belly plates are closed. now i have to figure how to get the 21 transformed correctly WITH the rear fuselage in place this thing is a beaut of a puzzle and i love it...but DANG. it is without a doubt the most difficult thing to transform that i have ever owned. i've had it since release and only transformed it twice. i could never get the belly plates to behave correctly so i just displayed it with the fast packs on and left it alone (my fast packs aren't wonky like most i've read about). i never even realized the fuselage was supposed to set flush. maybe i should try chucking it against the wall...i've read in another thread that will produce interesting results
  17. logos, i'm still having trouble...the legs on my 21 don't seem to want to extend for "an extra click". i even have the extra translation sheet, but the dang thing is so dark it's hard to tell whats going on. could you snap a pic or two or maybe give a bit more clarification?
  18. holy poo this is the meanest freakin post today. i was all excited...now crushed
  19. brilliant! thanks, graham. i have always loved that yamato gives us the option of removable intake covers...even if some find it ugly. the option is there.
  20. indeed they do. just making sure. i simply found it odd that in all of the pics we seen and discussion that's happened i have never seen an image that shows the intakes removed. if i missed something, sorry
  21. i haven't seen any photos with the intake covers removed. they are removable, right?
  22. where is said video? i'd love to see it
  23. after items ship from hlj i receive them within two days (relative because tokyo central time is more that twelve hours ahead of the central u.s. time zone. time travel is awesome.). my vf-11b shipped april 30th on the japanese calender. i will probably have it by saturday. once your package reaches the inward office of exchange in jfk you're golden. hope that helps.
  24. thank you! but, can you be more specific as to where it is applied? it's an odd shape and does not seem to match the consul in front of guld.
