It really pisses me off that toy collectors make a big hardcore deal about collecting dorky /toys/, when they dont even like the show. They'll spend 500 dollars on a diecast Goshogun, but they've never even seen Goshogun, and if they did, they'd hate it. What is the MATTER with those freakin idiotic toy collectors? Fools with mental difficulties I think. Thats the only explanation. Like all those people that spend 250 dollars on Dorvack toys, then go and say "Dorvack was a pretty lame show."... If there is /anyone/ that is lame, its those stupid collectors. Maybe someone else has thoughts on this. I make these statements because I doubt many of the people who look for this toy have even seen Xabungle, and if they have, I betcha they hated it. I personally, have seen around 4 episodes of Xabungle fansubbed and I love it. Its classic mecha action, with a great plot, and ridiculously interesting mecha. So yes, YAY for xabungle ^___^ And no Drifand, I dont neccesarily mean you I mean a lot of toy collectors in general, especially a lot of people at Toybox DX. Of course, I know im going to get slammed now, but yah. -BEN-MAN-

I couldnt describe it in words. Its more of a feeling. Which is equally indescribable. You'd have to have watched space operas in order to know what one is, LOL ^___^ -BEN-MAN-

Space operas are the best type of anime in my oppinion. I have never seen a bad space opera. However.. There arent many. Theres quite a few borderline space operas, but lets just go with definitive space operas. Heres my list.. Which ones did i miss? Yamato (All the series and movies) - One of the greatest series of all time. Galaxy Exprexx 999 - Ditto. Harlock - Harlock is pure awesomness, everything he appears in is cool. All of Leiji Matsumotos other stuff - Havent seen most of it.. But what I have is cool. Chojikuu Yosai Macross - I think its considered a space opera. Im not sure if Macross 7 is... Legend Of Galactic Heroes - only seen one episode.. but its one of the best series EVER so far. SPT Layzner - Another robot show, but its got veins of Space Opera in it also. Ginga Sengoku Gunyuuden Rai - Definitive space opera, extremely awesome. Love it. Joji Manabe rules. Irresponsible Captain Tylor - Im pretty sure it is one. Comedy also, but still. Seikai No Senki - I love it, a lot of people hate it. I love romantic space stuff though. Stellvia Of The Universe - New series, love it. Not sure if its space opera, but its awesome! I post this cause I got to thinking. Theres SOOO many Romance shows, Robot shows, Fighting shows, and yet one of the oldest anime genres of all time... Space Opera... is tiny in comparison! I know Leiji Matsumoto did /oodles and oodles/ of Space Opera movies, OVAs, etc, but still. -BEN-MAN- P.S. On a latter note, I saw the first episode of the new Galaxy Railways show, and it was... SERIOUSLY awesome. The trains in it are seriously the coolest trains to ever exist. Although I havent seen all that much of the original Galaxy Express... So yah.

Thank you very much for your help you guys! I knew that I'd aquire a wealth of knowledge from you guys! And yah... I think I need to buy one or two new parts. In particular a new wedge that holds things together, and the piece that secures the loading arm to the front of the barrel. Right now the loading arm is just kinda hanging there. Most of it is surface rust, and from that site, it seems like the parts that I think we'll have problems with will be easy to replace. And thanks for the tips! I actually would have had no idea that dry firing it would be bad! I guess theres still a lot I have to learn. But this gun is awesome, and Im perfectly willing to learn all I need to in order to properly maintain and use it If black powder guns rust so easily... How do you protect them? Coating them in oil or something? When this thing gets cleaned up I dont want it to get rusty again It seems like this will make a wonderful first gun for me! I've shot guns before, but I've never owned one personally. It seems like it will be fun to break this gun down, clean it, all of that stuff. I cant wait My gun says "made in Italy", and there was a small roundish logo on part of it, but it was illegible. So I dont know which reproduction company made mine... At any rate! I recently saw all of Sonic Soldier Borgman subtitled, and its one of the coolest shows I've seen in a very long time! Its absolutely amazing! It seems like all of Ashi Productions shows are wonderful in some sense of the word. I incredibly loved the music. All the music they made into Music Videos for the Special are like.. Gut wrenchingly awesome. So... I set out to look for some CDs. I figured out the ones I want, are " Sonic Soldier Borgman - The Last Gig of the World", and "The Borgman Vocal Collection II: Really the Last Gig of the World". I've been able to find the Second one, but not the first! The first seems to have gotten up and jumped off the face of the earth! I looked on CD Japan, but no luck, I've looked at pretty much every site I can think of with no luck finding the "Last Gig Of The World" CD, but Im not the kind of guy to let up and give up, I figure theres enough Borgman fans here to advise me on where to go to get this CD? Dude! Did you guys notice this? The entire time I was watching Tekkaman Blade I was thinking "Damn. I wish there'd be a cameo of the original Tekkaman or something." And my wishing payed off!!! I didnt get the original tekkaman.. But two of the main characters from the original series! Joji and his girlfriend! When the Radam Flowers are attacking earth, Joji is helping people get into one of the Space Elevators, and then he meets the girl from original Tekkaman, and its so bloody cool! Check it out!!! Its kind of funny hearing /him/ say "Everything will be ok, we have Tekkamn Blade!" LOL ^__^ Being that he's the /original/ Tekkaman. Yah. Studio Nue did the Anime of Starship Troopers, although its dissapeared into the void. I dont think anyone will ever see it again. Last time I checked one person on this forum had 3 episodes on an ancient messed up tape that he was trying to remaster, but other than that. And yah, Guyver and Detonator Orgun are cool, I havent seen them, but I've seen a lot of pictures and read about them and stuff. Hell, tons of those Obari things are power armor shows. Theres a bunch of shows that sound like "Detonator Orgun" that are also powered armor shows I think. And of course theres Moldiver, Generator Gawl, and Project Arms. High Speed Jecy is also a powered armor show, althouth I have no way of verifying that, hardly any information exists for it. At any rate. -BEN-MAN-

I aquired a Colt 1851 Navy revolver, but its kind of rusted and needs some work, so I lent it to a friend to work on it, however he needs schematics to make sure he doesnt screw anything up. I've looked on google and stuff, and I cant seem to find schematics for the Colt 1851 Navy revolver. Mine is the old type with the octagonal barrel. Its a reproduction obviously, but a very nice one. So can anyone give me a link, or send me a picture of the schematics? We can dissasemble most of it, but the barrel and cylinder and stuff refuses to budge, probably bad rust dammage, but yah. What are these three specials? I have the standard "Starknight Tekkaman Blade" 1-49 boxed HK set, but theres no extras or anything. I dunno. Maybe I just havent gotten to them yet. I only have one more disk left... Dunno... Masami Obari is slowly growing in my mind.. He designed the Dancougar robots! He actually did a good ammount of good stuff. I just dont trust him in the directing chair at all. Megazone 23 Part III, Platnimhugen Ordian, Gravion, theyre just all amazing piles of festering crap!!! Obari has that "Lets make everything psychological and add weird plot twists that are just STUPID!" philosophy about making anime, and its /so not cool/. I want to slap him for what he did to Eve in Part III, and I want to scream at him for ever making something as freakin wiggy as Ordian. But he does have tallent. But I do like Tekkaman Blade. Its just a weird retelling of the original Tekkaman series, but its cool. Its no cooler than the original series, or at least it hasnt been so far. I'll always prefer Tekkamns Tekka-Dart, where he shoots off that little throwing star thing on his forehead, to Tekkaman Blades Volktekka. I mean, whats cooler? An all powerful throwing star thing that can blow through virtually anything and rip apart tons of enemies causing mayhem and destruction? Or the typical, overuses, big powerful Anime Beam? The original Tekkaman yelled better, did his move grunts better, and he said "PEGAS! TEKSETA!!" /so/ much cooler than Blade ever could. I think the original Tekkaman is superior to Tekkaman Blade. The only thing that Original Tekkaman needed was a good guy fighter that /wasnt tekkaman/. Thats why I really like Tekkaman Blade. Pegas can transform, and theres Sol Tekkamn 1&2!! You have to love a powered armor with a massive energy gun! But yah! I like all powered armor shows.. Cashaan, Guystars, Borgman, Tekkaman, Mospeada, Metal Jack, Machine Robo, and Im sure theres ton that Im missing... Powered Armor shows are the best ^__^. -BEN-MAN-

The sonic boom thing is a myth... Its all in the aerodynamics. I was reading an article, and one of the big aviation companies was saying how, if you build the plane in the right shape, the sonic boom created by the aircraft going through the air can be virtually null. Its just all in the design of the plane. And we never fully figured out a good airframe. That was the problem. I think its all in the fact that the world is about Returns. About Revenue. There are no dreams anymore. There are no ambitions. If someone can think of a cheap assed way of making money, theyre going to go with that. No ones going to say "lets make a new generation of transport plane!!" or anything like that. Humanity has gone from a good number of interesting geniuses pumping out intriguing designs, to a bunch of clone idiots creating cars that look the same, jets that look the same, soda that tastes the same, its just all a clone of eachother these days. Cause humanity has lost touch in its creative side. Well, thats just one of my ideas... The Concorde will be sorely missed, I never even got to fly on it... I always wanted to... Blah... -BEN-MAN-

LOL ^__^ But the rest was awesome And The Fog is awesome because its pretty scary, has a good story, and most of the places depicted in it are around Point Reyes, and its super cool, cause I've Been to that lighthouse! Who would pay 100 dollars for Southern Cross? Its a good show, but a second rate show. I cant wait to see it. But nowhere in my mind is it worth a freakin hundred dollars. Thats ludicrous. And for the love of all that is good, I hope ADV never gets their hands on Dorvack or Dougram or Laserion or Tobikage or anything of the sort. Everyone knows... Sunrise = Bandai. No it didnt! And even if it did I'd probably prefer wasting your time having you tell me. Its a pretty sweet destroid. Athough its a bit weird looking. Its neat they gave it 'chicken legs'. Its suiting, considering all of the ET series of destroids had that setup. The Dinosaur, Scorpion, Black Widow, Tarantula,and Spider all had a similar leg setup. Its neat to know that there was a "missing link" between the Earth Trekkers and the Main Battle Robot destroids. Pretty damn neat. Whats that big white cylinder at the top left of it though? Looks like one of those Anti Aircraft emplacements that ships have. Aside from having the Konig style arms, I wonder if this thing will have any other gimicks? Ebichu is awesome. It was done by Gainax??? Then I guess its one of the only Gainax things I like, LOL. Its one of the most foul nasty animes ever. Full of tons of nasty jokes and wonderful stuff like that. If your taste for humor craves dirtyness, this is the anime for you. And for the love of hell! Who cares about the animation? Animation DOES NOT MATTER in comedy shows. It matters in every other kind of show, drama, action, mecha, sci-fi, all of that. There is NO need for "beautiful animation" in shows like Ebichu and Masaru San. Its simple, funny animation, meant to perfectly suck out the INCREDIBLE HUMOR of the show. Add nice animation, and you'd be paying attention to /that/ and not the BOWEL DESTROYINGLY FUNNY humor ^__^ Or at least, thats what I think. -BEN-MAN-
