  1. GREAT bloody lineart!!! Thank you sooo much!!! Can anyone translate the stuff on the biplane? This will eternally solve this discussion -BEN-MAN-
  2. Yah, I dont really like american style superheros. Everyone knows Tekkaman will always reigh supreme. Tekkaman can destroy any other superhero, anytime, anywhere. Tekkaman has the most awesome outfit also. As far as american superheros, Captain America is one of the best And IronMan. The two best ones. Captain America is cool, because he symbolizes the great stuff in America. Most of which is gone these days.. Bu thats another story. He's awesome -BEN-MAN-
  3. ADV licenced Megazone??? ///NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!// For the LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD... How could such a beautiful creation be licenced by that SHITTY bangfuggling company??? THIS SUCKS! -BEN-MAN-
  4. The thing I hate about most transformers, is that their Arms, and their Legs are ALWAYS messed up. The only really good looking Legs and Arms that actually looked /good/ on the robot, was Beachcomber and Optimus Prime. They transformed into really believable robots. A lot of the others make it look like the robot would hobble around in pain and screaming for a sponge bath. I mean, I /LOVE/ Blitzwing, but the toy doesnt even have /legs or feet/!!! Its annoying man.. -BEN-MAN-
  5. Sweet Jimminy... Thats awesome, but Astrotrains arms are like stumpy little protrusions!! LOL!! Still cool though. Say... Remember in Transformers The Movie? The big triple changing Tank Decepton is about to blow away Hotrod, and Cup drives in and pulls the Decepticons cannon up, making him shoot someone else. What Decepticon was that? It was always one of my favorite designs ^__^ -BEN-MAN-
  6. The USA in general is starting to lack creativity. Just look at the movies out today... Its hard to find an original idea out there anymore. Im surprised Marvel hadnt stopped to this level earlier. -BEN-MAN-
  7. I dont know why I still think its a true airplane... I guess because I dont see /why/ Leiji Matsumoto would design a 1920's/30's biplane on his own, instead of finding some obscure German biplane to use. I strongly believe that Harlocks biplane is German in orgigin, because of the airfoil between the landing gears, and the fact that Harlock comes from Germany originally. And couldnt it be that the inverted gull wing is because the two wings would have been too close together normally? Im not that affluent in aerodynamics, but Im sure theres a reason for the gull wing. So that the wings could be farther apart, makes sense to me... but then again the Fokker Triplane had wings /very/ close together, and it flew beautifully, so yah... But at any rate. -BEN-MAN-
  8. I have found but ONE biplane, whos lower wing was an inverted gull wing. And its obviously not this plane. But this supports the idea that this IS possibly a real plane. This plane was from early WW2, and is merely meant to represent a point, that such an aircraft could exist. http://www.ifrance.com/luftwaffe35/images/ar81b.jpg http://www.ifrance.com/luftwaffe35/images/ar81v1.jpg I firmly believe that Harlocks Arcadia Biplane is a real world design. Just a VERY obscure one. Someone ridiculously familiar with German early biplanes, in genera would probably be the most helpl. This design /has/ to actually exist. -BEN-MAN-
  9. I've been watching foreign movies since I was 5, reading the subtitles. If someone doesnt want to watch something because its Subtitled... Then they dont deserve to EVER see it. MAKE SUBS NOT WAR! ^__^ -BEN-MAN-
  10. there are Two megazone movies. The third does not exist. If you see it, dont watch it. Unless you want to be disgusted by what a pathetic crappy predictable directer named Masami Obari did to a wonderful story. In Megazone 23 Shogo and friends realise that the Megazone 23 is really a huge spaceship, controlled by a computer which brainwashes and decieves its inhabitants. Shogo gets busted up in a climactic fight in the end, and he starts to wander around the streets, realising that everything he's seen is a total lie, and he sets off to correct such an injustice. In Megazone 23 Part II, Shogo and friends try to unveil the truth, and to figure out exactly whats going on and stuff. But I wont tell you much about it, its best to leave it a surprise. But yah, 1 and 2 are the ONLY /real/ megazone movies. The second one was done by a different director, but I think that was the idea. To see how a different director would handle continuing the story. So its still totally legitimate, and it finishes up the plot started in the first movie flawlessly. Both are wonderful movies. The second one is a lot more dark though. -BEN-MAN-
  11. I still like my idea the best. A story about a /crappy/ federation ship. Inferior in every way to the Hot Dogs of the Star Trek universe. A ship that despite its limitations, goes above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. The kind of ship that WONT always win, but will put up a damn good fight. A Star Trek show about underdogs. No more of these super powerful Lead starships. -BEN-MAN-
  12. There are many albums for the Megazone series of movies. I have all of them except the album for Part III. Breakpoint was already on the Vocals CD, and that was just about the only good song from Part III, so yah. The CDs are rather easy to find, although I couldnt give you a website to find them on off the top of my head. Part II's 'Tell Me The Secret' is probably my favorite vocal song. Although Samishikute Nemurenai, from the first movie, is just as good. -BEN-MAN-
  13. Girl jumping from missile to missile in the air? Probably Mahoromatic, a Gainax show. I dont like it much. Oodles of Fan Service though. Edit:: If you can find a Subtitled version of Megazone 23, definitely show it. Its a freaking awesome movie. One of the best. The music is atomically awesome. -BEN-MAN-
  14. Here are the options, if I was showing a movie... Battle Royal High School. Arcadia Of My Youth. Riding Bean. Great fun -BEN-MAN-
  15. The half Vampire half Wearwolf was lame. Looked like a satanic Hulk. But yah, the blonde girls sexy dress, and lady Amelias dress were GREAT. More girls should wear dresses like that. -BEN-MAN-
  16. I read that of all the World War 1 dramas, the Australian miniseries 'The Anzacs' was the best. Starring Paul Hogan, among others, its even supposed to have a reproduction Mk V brittish tank in it. Is it worth shelling out 50 bucks for? I havent really been able to find any reviews on it... And Im very interested in WW1 military vehicles. Is the Mk. V tank in it very much? I'd still get it regardless, but more Mk. V is always a good thing Sorry for this being slightly off topic.. But of anyone I could depend on to tell me if this is worth 50 bucks or not, its you guys, so yah Thank ya! -BEN-MAN-
  17. Yes, I agree. I was thinking it might be a fantasy creation. However... Leiji Matsumoto is usually pretty good with historical information. Especially in Arcadia Of My Youth. In the WW2 scenes you can see BF-109s, Shermans, lots of different ww2 vehicles. Maybe... Just as the space battleship Acradia was a completely custom built ship, maybe the first Harlocks biplane was a custom built airplane? -BEN-MAN-
  18. Arcadia Of My Youth. One of the greatest movies of all time. -BEN-MAN-
  19. Saw it... Its gothic cheese. All those poser goth teens who pretend to be "different" by being the same as the next gothic dork will love it. It has some painfully bad acting in it, and some of the scenes are really stupid... The music wasnt anything special... The costumes were awesome! None of the characters really stuck out. And, /Spoiler, Spoiler, Spoiler/: (If you want to call it that.) Am I the only one who found it hilarious that the Hulk was in it? Green, muscly, big, I tell ya, it WAS the hulk!!! I mean... COME ON... Sure, it was a darker shade of green, but still... Totally laughably bad. I saw this movie cause my friends took me to see it Definitely worth seeing if you can see it for free, LoL -BEN-MAN-
  20. No comment on the actual tunes I uploaded? Awesome creepy assed Hell Target music... A few of my favorites... And a few tunes from one of the greatest Finnish rock & roll bands ever Come on! I'd like to hear what you think Preferably good things -BEN-MAN-
  21. Pre-ww1?? Not bloody likely Pre-ww2, probably... You gotta remember that the first military planes used in WW1 were screwy little planes that looked like ancient UltraLights! Only a bit later was there actual biplane use and stuff. But yah! I'd /LOVE/ to know what type of plane that is. Anyone who has any means capable of easily figuring it out would be /awesome/ to try and figure it out At any rate -BEN-MAN-
  22. See F-ZeroOne? I had /no idea/ ! Thats why I freakin want a good book, or a good website, or some kind of in depth good resource for the obscure aircraft of WW1 ! But at any rate, yah. Brits are funny -BEN-MAN-
  23. Hikaru's yellow model biplane didnt have lower canted wings like this one does. I dont think... Thank you VERY MUCH for posting pictures dude ^__^ ! I really appreciate it ! Yet still no one can identify the plane? Odd... Im not that familiar with early biplanes, so I have no idea. I just love the design of this plane. Its /so/ cool looking!! So yah -BEN-MAN-
  24. Kieth dude, I have yet to see it! Im a massive mecha nut, just as much as I am a Space Opera nut. I bought Sonic Soldier Borgman, and Tekkaman Blade (because I've seen the original tekkaman series subtitled and I want to see the sequal), and Dunbine for a friend. And I promised myself Area 88, I Wish You Were Here, and the first set of Hokuto No Ken, first. After that, I'll get the last set of Yamato and the first set of Galaxy Express. I'll get around to it, Im just a slow ass . -BEN-MAN-
  25. This is what happens with this kind of thing... Some of you people are actually considering watching Azumanga Daoih /dubbed/??? What a freaking crime. -BEN-MAN-
