i have high hopes for these RD Side-VFs since i currently have 8 RDs and i've seen the improvements they've done since the first few releases. the articulation has been greatly improved (some have mentioned it to be MG-ish now), tight joints all around, and the seams don't open up while posing unlike the GN-Us... they now provide extra solid (i'm guessing ABS) fins/antennae if you don't like the bendy PVC type they put on the figures. but i'm still hoping against hope that these could be transformable like the Nirvash Type Zero w/ some parts-swapping involved... but i figure that would be a long shot since they already have the VF-100 line.

alright, i'll bet against you that the GBP Armor will just be an add-on...

it's just personal preference... but for the sake of argument... if one of the two were to fall in my lap and i was in desperate need of money, yeah, i'd choose the LV1 and sell it off right away. but if i were to keep it and put it on display, then definitely the stealth color scheme appeals to me more. plus it's a 1J. IMO, the only reason the value (in monetary terms) of the LV1 went up the way it did was because of the limited nature of the release. but if it were the other way around and the stealth was the one w/ the "limited" brand on it, people wouldn't be paying too much attention (and money) to the LV1. just my 2¢

can't even look at the pics for too long. the color is actually really making my eyes twitchy... esp. the last pic in battroid, it's like i'm watching it on TV and somebody changed the color settings or something. it's like an overcooked low-vis or a half-baked stealth...

the color is messing w/ my eyes!!! looks a li'l bluish to me, like he was beat up or something. i was actually hoping the Yamato site would have some news/pics of the new GBP armor. (EDIT - hahaha, i just noticed this now - "Instead of the normal low vis color of grey it is blue grey") this bit of confirmation might make me start buying these v.2.1s again. hope the TV 1As get re-issued w/ this crotch joint ver.

dang! the exclusive armor parts for Alto are $110 preordered from Overdrive, and i'm assuming this is w/out s/h yet. i wonder what the street price of these will be considering that the exclusive Super Parts are now selling in shops for $100+. ... it's as/more expensive than the valk its gonna be put on. anybody else wishing Bandai would do a bundled set like Ozma's?
