  1. This is looking more and more likely. In the latest episode, as she was about to inject Victor-as-Dominic with a drug, he yelled "Whiskey!" at her, which she interpreted as a request for a drink, but like "Echo", "Sierra", etc. are names from the NATO alphabet.
  2. The same way he got Elle's electricity ability and the shapeshifter's ability: Papa Petrelli told him how. Of course, since Sylar was going to kill Nathan anyway, there wasn't really any reason for him to get the flight ability without cutting open Nathan's head, other than a) saving on the FX budget by not showing Sylar killing Nathan in mid-flight, and b) leaving a body for Angela and Parkman to easily find.
  3. I don't recall which episode, but in one of this chapter's episodes he mentioned that or else it won't work. Which mean either Claire was incredibly lucky last chapter or Danko sucks
  4. In the extended director's cut, the CPU's are read-only (even though that makes no sense, as noted by the computer scientist who was the movie's technical consultant on neural networks). In the original theatrical cut, they dropped the explanation and the subsequent CPU extraction scene, and replaced it with a line about how he learns human behavior the more time he spends around people.
  5. I was wondering if that would be the case, too, except there's one minor major problem:
  6. I think we're usually stunned for days from seeing a half-decent episode for a change
  7. She wants to go for the Blackjack/Capt. Harlock look?
  8. Was I the only one who thought that everything after was drawn out and could've been told in half the time? Other than that, good ending.

  10. "My God, Bones, what have I done?" "You did what you always do, Jim: turn death into a fighting chance."
  11. Andersen: What happened? Liara: I still cannot believe it! Shepard ran out of the lift, screaming "NO MORE ELEVATOR RIDES! I CAN'T TAKE ANOTHER ELEVATOR RIDE!", and went through the airlock without an EVA suit! Andersen: Dear God, another one! How many more good people will those damned things destroy! Well, we can't let people know what happened; a hero like Shepard doesn't deserve to be remembered by such a demeaning end. We'll blame the Reapers; nobody likes those f**kers. [Roll Mass Effect 2 title sequence]
  12. When Alan Moore didn't want anything to do with the "V for Vendetta" movie, but some press material was released that included his name in it, he raised a big stink about it with Warner Bros. or whoever he originally dealt with regarding his movie royalties, credits, etc. He probably doesn't want his name to be used here either.
  13. The question is "Get out into what?" In the second episode, Number Two said that The Village is what the world would become one day. Then, in the final episode, while Number Six drove in his roadster away from his flat, the door to his flat opened and closed by itself, like the doors in The Village
  14. Grendizer, back in '75 during my first visit to Hong Kong. After that, Gatchman (as Battle of the Planets), in 1980.
  15. <Its dreams dashed, a Battroid walks slowly away, sadly whistling "Sweet Georgia Brown">
  16. Thumbs up from me as well for "Linda Linda Linda", which replaced "Tampopo" as my favorite Japanese movie. They're both based in real life, although they each have occasional quirky, comic moments. I also like fan-favourite "Oldboy", and one of Park Chan-Wook's non-"Revenge Trilogy" films "JSA" (Joint Security Area), which is a mostly action-free drama about an international investigation of a fatal shooting on the North/South Korean border (the main character is played by the same actress who later starred in "Lady Vengeance").
  17. I'm hoping they inserted "Watchmen" into the dialog just for the trailer. I don't think they had a group name since they never actually became a group formally (unless something happened after the failed "Crimebusters" meeting that I missed).
  18. They could've combined the two, and showed 15-20 seconds of Silk Spectre wearing legwarmers and a Swatch IIRC, in the second trailer you can see a Patrick Nagel print on the wall of The Comedian's apartment, when Rorschach opens the hidden compartment.
  19. Dreiberg gets to wear his puffy winter outfit
  20. Will Smith's kid has been cast for it: Jaden Smith set for 'Karate Kid' redo So he's now involved with two unneeded remakes
