  1. Here is my initial effort at this wallpaper stuff. Hope you Macross II fans out there like it. 1024x768
  2. An old thread with some info on Megaro Zamac http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...hl=megaro+zamac
  3. Transform ? Thats the Monster MkII not the later VB-6 Koenig Monster. It isn't capable of transformation.
  4. Short Little Ugly Fella(or some other more colorful versions)
  5. Shin The PAF Freedom Fighters were operating before the arrival of the F-8H. There even plans to operate them off smaller islands using a catapult and arrestor system but that never achieve fruition. Supposedly they fell into disrepair due to corruption of the regime at that time. F-8 vs F-5E The 20mm Mk15 hispano type guns of the crusader have a slightly heftier punch than the M39 of the Tiger II but less accurate and reliable. So the F-8 would still be relying on its 4 Sidewinders. The F-5E has the advantage in agility, turn and roll. Overall better than the F-8 IMO. F-20 vs F-8 Not a fair comparison i suppose since the F-20 has the late model Sparrow and was likely to get Amraam. F-8 vs Super Sluf F-8 i guess since the A-7F is quite heavier and not optimised for A-A.
  6. MIO's older songs like Fushigi Call Me, Goodbye Lonely Blue, Men of Destiny and others anime soundtracks like mospeada, macross, tokusatsu.etc Go-Gos, Belinda Carlisle, A-ha, Tears for Fears, Heart and other Pre-90s stuff that isn't madonna and country.
  7. yeah those are RF-8G Photosaders with the small F-8A radome. Would be nice to see big-nose D/E models in the grey scheme as well. The only low-vis fighter saders i know of are those operated by the PAF's Bulldog squadron. I believe one variation of the scheme had wrap around patterns. Shin probably knows more about this. Shin have ever you seen the PAF F-8H on display at Air Force City/Clark ? If you have is it still there ? As for the Supergator i think the production version might have had 20mm hispano type guns installed rather than M39 revolver guns as used by USAF fighters. The prototypes certainly didn't have guns installed. Missiles armament is a bit odd that only 3 Sparrows are carried though the quartet of Sidewinders are retained.
  8. Seems like a very small kit at 1/144 scale http://homepage2.nifty.com/sparrow2/build09-r103.htm
  9. Those are Hase ? I thought they were resin kits.
  10. Interestingly Crusaders got to wear the low-vis grey scheme during its last months of service.
  11. So the morphing wings were more costly but didn't it make to the final VF-22 design ? Or those wings just fold downwards in cheapo style. If we go by VF-X-2 then the UN Spacy weren't going to purchase either VF-19 or VF-22 in large numbers. Rather they supplement the Thunderbolts with production variants of the Ghost X-9(AIF-9B ?).
  12. Briareos9 Just to clear up that the VF-19S has the same stubby wings as the VF-19F. Basically it is just the commander version of the 19F. The VF-19Kai and P variants have most of the 19F's features but with the wings of the 19A. So taking middle road here. I don't think the 19A will be at any major disadvantage in Space but it is definitely fighting in its element when inside atmosphere. Just as the 19F/S can also fight in atmospheric conditions just not quite as well without the canards and wings.
  13. ...and what is that? Neucom Inc. R-103 Delphinus 3
  14. Maybe he is 1/2 italian and 1/2 eastern european
  15. VF-19A is the primary atmospheric variant which is alot more agile than the VF-19F/S variants. I don't see how it could be difficult to fly unless those test pilots are really incompetent like those of the M7 fleet. FSW+Canard actually provides excellent manuevebility and very high angle of attack while reducing stalling. This is of course assuming it is anything like its nearest real life counterpart the X-29. http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/sys...rcraft/x-29.htm Even if the YF-19 is really a bit hard to handle you can bet the production version will feature a g-limiter like the F-16 which can be overwrite if neccesary. As for the YF-21 bcs i think it would have done better without an unstable prozac taking Bowman using it. Maybe a full human pilot is stable enough to use it without losing control. I don't think opting for conventional controls only is an advantage except saving cost. VF-22's nearest real life equivalent the YF-23 Black Widow actually doesn't use TVC yet it is still quite manuverable and it is probably more stealthy than had it used it.
  16. Kin Are you going to make the canopy round and clear ? I remembered your older version having a rounder canopy.
  17. hmmm...that's a charlie angel cosplaying as Millia
  18. The Blue Angels don't fly the Shitnet just yet. Its no secret that the italeri kit has fit problems i am sure there are reviews out there that explain this.
