    I didnt expect a Gnerl to be that large myself..completely dwarfs any VF in existence. Explains why it takes many AAM-1/GU-11 hits to bring one down.

    Let's see..my side story is Iran gets a government change after the unification war and are soon allowed to have a military again for self defense. Initially they get some used F-203 and later VF-4 fighters before finally getting some VF-11A+ types. Those receive a partial B/C systems upgraded but retain VF-11A engines with reduced thrust.

    Then my condolences to their wallets . IMO that overrated 'demo' is crap compared with normal VF-X-2 rare or not.

    I don't see what makes the Special Version/Tokyo Snack worth paying for. The VF-5000 model looks plain and lacking detail..much worse than the variable craft from the normal version. Even M+ game edition had a better VF-5000 in it. The unreleased US version on the other hand would be worth paying for.

    Hi MM, Hope to see some schemes from you As for the gradients they are simplified and should be set to multiply. The first 2 pages of this thread had a tutorial by TWDC dealing with the how-to's.

    I missed that thread completely..went to F-16.net to hunt them. So it is really dark gray, medium gray and the std low-vis gray..might look cool on a VB-6

    Where is the VF-3000 Crusader not to mention the VF-25 and 191 ? I wouldn't list the Koenig or Invader bombers since they are hardly fighters to begin with.

    Which version is best ? Cant be Vietnam or 80s right. I wished they had more colorful markings. Might be hard to decide. Seen it. Still looking for the right color shades.

    And that's not even the multi layered version i am still working on Progress is abit slow but i will get there soon. @Crazy Canuck II Nice to see your VF-1 orthographics here. I remember coloring up a few back in the day.

    I am currently handling 2 request for other MWers and uploading leftover profiles from last year. You are always free to suggest though. A multi layered template will be uploaded in a few hours time for those interested in making their own schemes. For now some new and updated profiles. I know the VF-11 is getting a bit boring now

    They should really stick to the anime style opening instead or dont even bother with it in the first place. I guess it is more of a fan service than anything. Its good to hear the controls are smooth, the previous Votoms for the psx were not really good. From the clips i see the special moves become repititive after a while and all. As for mellowlink maybe they will include it in a special edition of the game. I hope for english version yet this seems unlikely given the show's low profile outside japan. I hope it doesnt end up like the trio of japanese only starblazer/yamato games.

    Hi, my VF-96 is re imagined to better fit the tail fin of the VF-11. I think it looks more modern/sleeker that way. I did however do a VF-96 just like the one you posted somewhere in this thread. Me thinks it look weird because it is design to fit the shape of the Phantom's large tail fin..those are perfect for any logo they can come up with. The Vampire is my very first scheme using the Nied template..based on a photo suggested by Fatalist...i am sure they look dated now. And as usual some new schemes to keep this thread alive including some different ones to give more variety. At this point i think i am done with VF-11..now working on the AIF-1B Ghost from VF-X-2.
