Nice to see Talos reviving this thread. Been away from Macrossworld too long now. Actually started on this awhile ago and still a long way to go. Talos has been kind enough to provide me with his latest revision of the VF-4 blank which is an absolutely gem. Stay tuned for more..

Not much of an update.. Adversary Tactics Paintjob on a mid production F-27J. Note the definitive IRST system. Vanilla F-27 with IRST

That cat is supposedly the test pilot's lucky talisman. As for the shape ahead of the windshield..its a form of IR Search and Track(IRST) device. It does spoil the clean profile somewhat EDIT..added the Clean nose version for dedicated air to air work.

Thanks for the comments and views everyone! I hope you guys spotted the little easter egg i planted in the TRDI scheme. Not too much done lately..just fixing glitches and adding a centerline drop tank for the F-27.

These are pretty much the finalised versions of the F-27J Warhawk 2, both birds from the Gifu test unit in both high vis and reduced vis decals. Some minor changes to decal orientation and making the engine bays bare metal. @Mr March Thanks..the Warhawks provide a change of nice change from the Howlers and Invaders. @Kylwell Thats pretty cool. Nice work EDIT: Added Prototype Test Scheme

hmm..Maybe you can try this tutorial. It's abit simplified but gets the pen path tools explained. Anyway here's a preview of how the F-27C is coming out. I need to tweak it abit more.
