  1. Yes, what I'm saying is that, whether or not they're in the arms, the 31 doesn't need to carry as much as, say a 25, meaning it could possibly pack it all along side all the extra machinery in the arms.
  2. Single barreled cannons have a lower rate of fire than rotary/gatling cannons and make up for it with a larger caliber a lack of a need to spin the cannon up to speed allowing for less rounds to kill. Compare the Mauser BK-27 in the Typhoon and Gripen uses a 27mm round, has a rate of fire of 1,000 - 1,700 rpm versus your bog-standard USAF M61 Vulcan which uses a 20mm round and fires at 6,000 rpm. The former can spit out 4kg of projectiles in the first second of firing compared to 2kg for the Vulcan. This means that the 32's arm cannons possible need to carry less ammo than a normal rotary gunpod. The fact that it carries two of them possibly helps as well.
  3. In fairness, the stabbing only comes later on in the courtship ritual, right before the ceremonial setting fire to boiling water.
  4. I wonder what Millia thinks of Mirage's love life. I'm guessing that the moment she hears about her having a rival and punching him down, she's already started planning the wedding and sent the knife she used on Max in the mail. Sizes are now defined in Decultures. So if the Elysium is a "Deculture and a half" (based on the gg sub), then maybe the Quarter is just a Deculture and a quarter.
  5. I dunno, there seem to be alot of distinct details that the Elysium doesn't share with the Quarter class, such as the legs, arms that go beyond the usual variations in class. Even the Battle Frontier and Galaxy don't differ that much. Also, even the main torso section, which at first seems to be similar to that of the Quarter class, has some notable differences as well. It's more squared off than the pointy Quarter class. And, as previously mentioned, the head/bridge tower is much smaller in relation to the body.
  6. Some of the building down there are way taller than 2-3 storeys, especially the trapezoidal ones. What's not evident in the image is the fact that the CV/C-109 has a covered rear area similar to what you'd see on M7 era ships (Uraga class, New Macross Class in cruiser mode). There's an entire rear hangar area there that wouldn't fit in the Quarter's ARMD-L. The CV/C-109 looks to be, at the very least, much longer than the latter. Yet at the same time, the scale to the rest of the ship seems different - you'd expect the CV/C-109 to be much longer compared to the rest of the ship if it were just a upgraded Quarter class.
  7. I'd say the Elysium is a new class of ship that just borrows design cues from the Quarter class. There's a shot of it where you can see it to scale with some other buildings and it seems to be way bigger than the "Empire State sized" Quarter. A key detail is that the deck of the CV/C-109 seems to be larger than that on the Quarter's ARMD-L, with a much bigger area for parking planes.
  8. Is it really Ragna, or Laguna? I've seen the former used more, but the latter seems to make more sense.
  9. I believe it was easier for them to convince Congress that the Super Hornet was just a low-risk "derivative" (rather than something that's 80% new) by keeping the designation.
  10. So will we start using "Deculture" as a unit of measure for size now?
  11. Hayate being able to make a mech dance was foreshadowed during the start when he makes his work destroid dance.
  12. Are those subs only for this release, or will all Blu-rays of Delta have them? Seems like a good way to get around the legal issues keeping it from getting picked up in the US.
  13. Only if he has a set of bridge bunnies who flirt with him that he acts all awkward around to make old man Exsedol be proud.
  14. What I want to know is, with the merging of the singing and fighting, will there still be a place for having mechanical standees in place of band members in the middle of concerts/battles.
  15. He gets the blue Valk this time around, which should explain everything. Main image on the official site focuses on the three of them. So that should pretty much confirms it.
  16. JB0 only plays for the waifus. Depends on who bakes, maybe someone bakes so bad that instead of making someone start talking, it shuts them up forever.
  17. They used rotoscoping for BlazBlue. They had flat shaded 3D models of the characters that they traced over with pixel art. Xrd is the first game they've done that uses this new technique (on Unreal Engine 3 I might add).
