It's looking good. The plastic still looks the same level of quality as the vf-1 mpc's, but apart from that it's pretty nice. I like the way the tailfins angle outwards.

Is the price also dropping due to the raus not flying off the shelves because of the original high price? I wish I waited.. would have saved 20-30 bucks.

I've been following this on cinescape.com for a while (great place for latest movie gossip) - I was worried, cos there was mention of Hartnett playing Marv a while back.. but that must have been a typo. (edit: lol.. I mis-spelt 'typo'! ) I read the Rodreguez actually shot a few scenes of the start of the movie to present to Miller to convince him, and these test scenes will actually be in the final film.

The big Gakken Ride Armor from mospeada gets my vote. My rule of thumb is, if I'm too stupid to not be able to transform it without the instructions.

bah. Sure it's homoerotic but no more so than Top Gun. The whole Goose/Maveric love story - "you can ride my tail anytime!" etc. But I was very let down by Yukikaze. I struggled thru the 1st 2 episodes. The rather short fight scenes very great though.

I got one of those too. I thought it was a fake. I almost bought into it as the letter said my account had been suspended due to a recent purchase that may have been illegal. And I had just bought the Berserk manga series on CD, which I thought it was about. But to check, I made a bid and it was fine so I knew the email was a fraud.

haha, I have that too. have had it for about 2 years. I gave away my old dvd copy of predator and rushed out and bought this one the day it came out. defintely worth getting for the extras. It's weird how living in Australia, aka the last place on earth pop culture gets released, we sometimes get first bite of the cherry.

I will hate this movie so much if they introduce a half alien/predator hybrid. Like the stupid baby alien in Alien Resurrection. If I see a big mutant alien with dreadlocks in this movie, I will scream real loud and walk out of the cinema.

I know it's anime, but I love the Black Tiger, Cosmo Tiger and Cosmo Zero from Space Battleship Yamato/Star Blazers. And the retro funk of the BDG Viper cannot be beaten.

I think that WWI and/or WWII planes that are used for airshows or other things get such gay paint schemes, it seems that anyone can get its hands on an old VF in the Macross world, I which thinks were like that in the real world, I would love to have a 30year old retired fighter! I would go insane if I had to look at an orange, green and blue custom on my shelf every day.

never seen M7 and probably never will. BUT I do like the red flames on the 1A in the second pic. I would happily make a custom using that scheme. It would be like a hotted up Trans-am or something.

Would you make a custom paint of a 1/60 following the colour pattern of your bird? I would be the VF-1A Poppy special... I like how well behaved is your bird hehe, that would be a really fruity looking custom! and don't be fooled.. that bird is so not well behaved! My guess is they're the bootleg versions, which would explain why the pics aren't working. If they are bootlegs, $25 is a rip off.
