I have to buck the trend and say I'd prefer a non-transforming monster that had a perfect scuplt rather than this tranforming toy that *almost* looks great in Gerwalk. Of course I know I will cave in and buy the damn thing!

Another easy fix is to use blu-tac. I don't know what it would be called overseas (outside Australia, haha) - just the sticky stuff you use to stick posters to walls. I used some on each end of the groin pice and it fixes it in place pretty tight. Then I squashed as much as I could into the hip sockets then put its legs back on. Still not perfect but the hips are connected to the nose fairly tight now.

heh to toynami, anyone will buy EVERYTHING. Or harmony gold I mean. Hell they advertised diecast with MPCs and they didnt implemen til vol1 and only told customers last minute before rick shipped, what makes you think toynami WONT make a small as alpha and sell it for 80$? I've got the superposable alphas and the 1/55 gakkens. I would be really surprised if they made them as small as the gakkens. Even though they say they're 1/55 nobody would buy such a small toy. 7 inches would be the smallest they could realistically get away with IMO.

Looking at the pic I just noticed that the wingtips have the same circle indent as the ankles. how strange!!

More 'serious good fun' robot/SF anime.. Gasaraki - it's a 'pay attention' series.. Raxhephon - I think of it as 'Evangelion Lite' - weird lookin' bad guys too. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - I'm halfway thru this series at the moment and I really like how they took the concepts from the movies, stripped away all the navel gazing and made it more of a cop/detective series. OK, it's not 'serious' but I loved Full Metal Panic which I just saw. Radd: I'm with you - Hated Noir, loved Crest of the Stars.

I forgot what the captain's special power was called, though. Good enough for me!
