I'm finally back from holidays! I've been gone since December 13. It's kinda depressing to be back at work but I'm coping! It was great meeting you guys and putting faces to the names. thanks to graham for showing us around. I would NEVER have found all those great places without you guy's knowledge. I had a BALL at the shopathon! HK is like one HUGE shopping centre! I went crazy buying stuff. I went even crazier trying to fit it into my bag and carry-on luggage to take on the plane! I stuffed a lot of my toy purchases into the 1/48 1j box and when it went through the customs x-ray machine they cracked up laughing! I bought: 1/48 super 1j MPC optimus binaltech smokescreen yammie 11b fastpack, ostrich, elint 1/48 fastpack set 1/65 bandai stealth valkyrie K&M regult gashapon toy SD Kampher Cowboy bebop swordfish kit MG patlabor reactive armor kit MG gelgoog production kit HGUC xeukiens kit PG green Zaku kit HG L-gaim kit .. and sailor moon figures (for my little cousin!! I swear! ) there's a few things I can't remember but that's mostly it! I love the thrill of spending money! PS - I didn't pay customs. What customs guy is gonna know the real price for a 1/48? He'll just look at it and think 'it's a toy, worth 10 bucks.'

Hello from Ko Tao in thailand!! I'm OK with the Kowloon - I would be completely LOST at any other meeting place! This shopathon is gonna be great - I have been doing nothing for a week but sitting on beaches and drinking alcohol. and eating and sleeping. HK will wake my lazy ass right up! But I bet it's not as nice as Agent One's!!!! LOL!! Oh well, back to the beach for me. I need to rest some more after my really hard day so I can stay up all night for new year's. Oh, BTW, HAPPY NEW YEARS!! Cheers to another year of unfulfill new year resolutions.

Hi everybody!! Just stopped into an internet cafe in Sukothai in north thailand. I was in bankok for 2 days and I have a really sore throat but it's an amazing if very dirty city. Since then have been travelling up to chang mai stopping in towns on the way. Not long to go now! I am saving as much as I can for HK. See you guys then!

Unfortunately my plane back to Australia leaves at 8am on Sunday so I will have to miss that day. But I have put aside all of the 9th & 10th for pure toy shopping!

I just bought 7 really cheap games from HK. As well as the abovementioned, I got Onimusha Tactics, 007: Nightfire and Tactics Ogre. I'll let you know if they're any good or not! But from all my review reading, the best GBA games seem to be Advance Wars 1&2, Zelda, Mario 4, Yoshi's Island, Golden Sun, FF tactics, Mario Kart, the Tony Hawk games and the Castlevania games are popular too.

hmm, a standard Triple room at the Grand Tower is $323, and a standard Triple room at the BP International is $93. I don't know about you guys but I would prefer to spend the extra $230 a night on toys!

looks small.. like it would be 1/100 or 1/72. I would save that 9 bucks and put it towards your next bandai or yamato purchase!

Doing a group booking sounds like an idea. I want to stay in somewhere nice but not mega expensive. I will be on my honeymoon after all!
