if you mean the blond chick who gets attached to the wall, she has a pistol - there was a shot by shot breakdown of the trailer on some avp website. Still, if I was a predator I wouldn't be considering her as a major threat to my life. so it's play ball but only on a technicality!

what a beauty! Well one thing they've fixed from the YF19, the gunpod looks straight when attached in fighter mode.

I was pleasantly surprised by the new trailer. And believe me I am a die hard Alien/Aliens/Predator/f_ck the rest fan. It's like an all you can eat fast food version of all the good bits of the aforementioned movies I like. There must be a large cast of human characters cos I must have watched about 30 people die in 2 minutes. I just hope they keep the mutant hybrid thingies to an absolute minimum.

since the last time this thread died what have I been reading that's new.. Got back into Hellblazer which is surprising since I hated Andy Diggle's writing on his series The Losers but he captures JC spot on. DMZ - cool vision of near futuristic american civil war. Just got vol 11 of 100 bullets yesterday. Starting to lose interest slightly. Looking forward to Alan Moore's next chapter of League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen due in late October, moving the timeframe to the 1950's.

due to a baby coming in 3 weeks and the resulting drop to one income I'll only be able to get one.. after much deliberating I think I'll pick the Mazinkaizer. and in 2 years when the price has tripled I'll punch myself in the head. edit: 3 months, not 3 weeks. almost wet myself in a panic when I read that.

same thing happens to mine. And Macross73, Don't attach the metal clip at the top of the stand to the back of your Getter without putting a bit of tape around the edges - it will scratch the paint off.

Well I'm not sure of the old version's issues but it can have its feet in an A-stance with the feet planted on the ground. Hip articulation is pretty shameful though. and you're right Mowe - I've had it out on the coffee table all week and wife has said nothing.. She thinks its my Combattler or Voltes toy.. hehe.

I just got my re-release Zambot and Getter set. Now I have to figure out how I can sneak them onto the shelves without getting caught.

how big's that bumblebee? Is he about the same scale as the Binaltech/Alternators line?
