150 seems a lot more reasonable a price than the crazy price CMS were asking for a toy that didn't even connect properly with the legioss. So are any of our regular toy merchants offering pre-orders? I am not crazy about pre ordering thru rt.com.

I have to state for the record I WAS WRONG! Before this abomination of a movie came out I posted I thought it;d be good.. mnan was I wrong. Watched it last night finally.. was like a 90 minute trailer. What really annoyed me were the constant "homages" - basically they re-shot scenes from Alien, Aliens and Predator and cut them together lifting SFX whole soundtrack segments and dialogue. I agree, give up on the movies and stick to the games.. this new Colonial Marines game looks great.

wow! Glad I missed the megahouse now. I didn't realise he has a cloth suit. what was the estimated price point for this? I fear it will be rather terrifying..

if you want to have a laugh or choke on your breakfast cereal go check out prices for the fewture black getter.. I'm tossing up between getting the fewture mazinger or the SOC Godmars.. tough choice.

get some now! If you can get the Fewture Mazinger before they're all gone.. amazing toy if you have $300 to throw away. Out of my whole collection the SOC line is by far my favourite and the one that holds my interest.

here's a noob question which I could find out if I had the time to trawl thru 1000 pages of the sv-51 thread (been away for the last 3 months working my nuts off) - what's the difference if any between the SV-51r and the upcoming SV-51y? Just a slight retooling and QC fixes?

good work! its easy to go overboard with dry brushing.. I'd go over the chest section again. I got an old smallish paintbrush an cut off most of the brush with scissors so it was like working with a pencil, then brushed it over the edges only to make it look like the paint had worn off due to long term field use.

I customised mine.. It was a while ago and if I remember the visor parts are glued together.. I had to pry them apart with an xacto knife..carefully.
