Finally done painting my low vis scheme and here are the pics (This is what the grey cannon fodder shown previously finally became) Now the hunt starts for the low vis 1/60 decals, especially the grey UN Spacy kites! where the hell can i find them? i know i know... the sticker sheet of the VT-1... OMG help me hope it looks OK

thanks for all the comments guys! i am truly grateful i'm afraid that i wont be keeping the grey CF scheme after all, i guess the loss of a hikaru 1J valk was too much for me to bear here's what i've been up to lately, hope to complete it by the end of this month:

thanks for all the comments guys! really motivates me to do more Kyp, the hikaru 1J is still worth buying, i only regret that i did not take good care of it... Mick, yup i used laquer paints will be posting pics of it in gerwalk and jet mode tonight, before i continue on the painting

does this also mean it is possible for yamato to make 1/60 vf-25 in the not too distant future

fighter mode still in progress i dun have an airbrush so need to get a spray can to spray some white stripes, then i'm done and on to the stickers

thanks for the comments guys my vf-1j hikaru yellowed probably due to too much exposure to sunlight, as my display cabinet is right next to a window... but really sorry i didnt take any pics of the yellowing 1J i used mr. hobby paints: neutral grey and RL66 black grey

hi guys, sharing some pics of my custom grey CF 1J... its customized out of necessity from a seriously yellowing hikaru 1J the work is still IP... havent finalized the scheme for the jet mode

the model kit clear version was so much better than this...

its been a year since i cut a sprue for the very first time... i'd like to thank the bandai DX design team for this! if it weren't for them, i would have never got into modelling until now

the model kit 1/72 VF-27 is already coming out by sept/oct, but there's still no news until now of the DX VF-27... not even a slither... which is a pity indeed but at least there's the DX macross quarter
