  1. new update on my vf-25 collection the wait for armored ozma was just too much for me... finally broke down and got the super ozma
  2. hi guys, the wait for armored ozma was just too much for me to bear, so i got the super ozma in the end. i really liked the cathy decals that came with it
  3. HELL YEAH! now that captures the meaning of perfrect trance!! i love trance music by the way and would post some links to some great trance tunes... but then again its not everyone's cup of tea seriously this whole thread is becoming dedicated to some very poor translation by some asian guy (i myself am asian, but i believe whats deserves bashing deserves bashing) totally baffles me why some people even dare to use AND PUBLISH to the public words that they half understand/ think they understand/ don't even understand
  4. That’s why armored messiah and super messiah mods were only meant for operating in space. This was the case ever since the VF-1 super & GBP, except for some designs in Mac 7. if you watch macross frontier, all the extra armor is always ejected by the pilot when entering an atmosphere (gravity env) the armor will merge together by itself (magnetically?) and remain in space as a pile of goodies (in a fixed orbit around the planet?? not sure...). ONLY in episode 1 do we see ozma enter a gravity env with all his armor parts on, but bear in mind he entered in GERWALK mode NOT in jet mode. thus with the foot thrusters angled down, it was ample to keep the valk flying with all the armor still on.
  5. in mac F all fighters launch using a catapault (much like the F-14 from a Navy ship) not a launch arm ala DYRL. all the guns and armor are mounted on prior to launch and the landing gear still gives it ample clearance well i guess we just have to see how much clearance there ACTUALLY is for ourselves when we finally finish building the kit, but here's a pic from bandai for now: i am astounded
  6. i like the "its me against the whole world" vibes it gives its astounding that this thing can even transform with all that armor remember the old GBP armored VF-1 could only do battroid mode
  7. i second that! good job Gen Chaos! i think all vermillion squad valks deserve weathering... i wish i had the skill man
  8. err... ok good work and effort bro but this is blasphemy!!! if this was the 5th century, Macross World members would have you burnt on the stake for this atrocity.
  9. the DX pilot really SUCKS i mean, for the overall toy u can say they sacrificed lineart accuracy for durability which is a good excuse fair enough but the pilot? what did they sacrifice to justify giving us that blob? oh yeah, production costs
  10. Thats some good work done there westfall meanwhile, bandai has released new product pics of the armored vf-25s you can see a new display stand connector for the jet mode from the side profile, the gun pod seems to hang REALLY low the wings look insanely heavy, the legs too can the hip and knee joints still hold poses on the display stand??? i wonder and how much stress can the wing joints take? things were already bad enough with the super parts... and now this
  11. thanks for the pics cf18 these extras are very much needed hope some of them work for the super parts config too
  12. from those pics, it says limited to 500pcs but i dont care anyway LOL lazy repaints...
  13. i think its good that yamato did this! now i have a good reason to hold all my VF-1 purchases until after the VE-1

    1/48 vs 1/60 v.2

well they have done it for the 1/60 Nora, they AVOIDED it obviously for the VF-1D minmay... but there is no escape for the 1/60 ver2 VF-1J miria

    1/48 vs 1/60 v.2

    1/48 vs 1/60 v.2

1/48 miria pilot does not have boobs. heck she has a male shoulder and hip structure! she was just a repaint of max and i couldnt stand it, damn it's creepy the new 1/60 v2 will surely have a feminine miria. STAY AWAY from the 1/48 miria vf-1j at all costs is what i say
  17. honkhet

    1/60 SV-51

NORA NORA NORA!!! NORA FTW! unique color scheme, unique female valkyrie pilot (until the day we get a 1/60 ver2 miria) (no, the Q-rau is not a valkyrie) the 1/48 VF-1J miria DID NOT HAVE BOOBS
  18. Can you tell me what are the "too many comprimises" are you talking about? please enlighten me
  19. anyway, i was never part of the modelling community before this, so i may not understand what a modeller wants or thinks. and the 1/72 vf-25 was my first ever model kit. the only reason why i took up modelling was the thing called the DX vf-25
  20. i just dont understand people that keep saying the 1/72 models are fragile, screw up decals when transform, paint job and blah blah blah i have made 3 models of the 1/72 vf-25, all with super parts did some painting, water slide decals and lastly some layers of clear coat. didnt even take me more than 2 weeks for each of them i have been playing non-stop with them eversince, not a single decal or joint had any problem. i just hope the 1/48 improves on the size and on the already almost perfect 1/72. spending more effort than 2 weeks, or months, or half a year just to paint and build a small, 1/72 model, and then just leaving it on display forever in jet mode??? thats just too boring for me 1/72 is not even grand enough scale to be called a display bring on the 1/48 ASAP
  21. well, i dont see any line art accuracy sacrifice for the 1/72 vf-25 and it still can transform. thing is the vf-25 was designed to transform with minimum anime magic from the very beginning. not like the vf-1. yf-19, yf-21 etc
