thats great work ikhii! i'm glad to see some people starting to post completed armored vf-25 models, about time i think the armored vf-25 kit is superior to the super vf-25 kit in every way, esp in terms of how the legs lock into fighter mode instead of js hanging there, as well as the proper display support for gerwalk and battroid modes. the super vf-25 was either rushed or they really missed out some serious considerations

don't we all here know too well that there's no such thing as "getting only one" once you start, u just cant stop, no matter how poor you claim to be! so ditch all those recommendations about "if you could only get one, then get <insert valk recommendation here>" for starters, js do urself a favor and get a 1/60 ver2 VF-1

at least its easier to paint yellow arrows into black, but NOT vice versa. you can even just use gundam markers to do the job

thanks bro for my stuff i js did the following: hand painting some minor details: pilot, cockpit tint, head lasers, visor tint, robot hands, missle covers, knife water decals or stickers for certain areas (depending on whether it will scratch during transformation or not) spray can white for landing gear, and hand paint the tyres black lastly a few layers of spray can topcoat to seal in the water decals and paint all the paint i used is from the mr. hobby brand and i havent gotta clue about the stuff mentioned in this forum like tamiya paints, future,etc...

wow! i am so glad i stayed with the model kit line so much stuff to collect, so much variety, and the prices aint that bad... i am looking forward to having an awesome mac F plamo collection in a few years

Yes, we noticed that a long time ago. it is suspected that it was designed so that it can fold in for easier attachment of the future release GBP armor. No. the valks did not do this in the anime.

hi dudes, js sharing some pics from an exhibition (in the biggest shooping mall on penang island, malaysia) i took part in last weekend. it was a transformers exhibition in conjunction with the screening of "revenge of the fallen", but the organizers were also keen on displaying some macross. hence i contirbuted my yamato 1/60 vf-1 and also my macross frontier model kits. Here are the pics taken by a freelance photographer. and although my model kits aint that awesome, i hope at least i did them enough justice and gave them good exposure to the TF fans. BTW, no DX chogokin vf-25s were on display.

be great if someone could share some scans not the whole page but just the important pics and sections, js to make sure we dont violate any rules...

ya this is surely worth a short discussion... somehow i think the 1Js are the leaders for base defense (hence the GBP armor), while 1S are leaders for strike/attack teams (hence the strike/super parts) whadya guys think?

wow good observation at that! ya in DYRL they had at least skull, apollo and angel squadrons (quoted by misa hayase herself) i really wonder how the appollo and angel color schemes are really like would yamato do them? i would definitely sucker up and buy them, just to complement my skull squadron
