Did u notice how big the "cockpit" of the VF-27 looked when it was folding at the end of episode 7? It also looked like the VR simulation Grace used in episode 8. That's why many many ppl believe Brera wasn't actually inside the VF-27, but controlling it from a virtual cockpit (So he could be basically far away). This is why I'm positive he was in Frontier the whole time. Also would solve the whole "entering Frontier without detection" issue & would put him under Leon's command... I believe Leon is the one behind the VF-27 (either he helped develop it by sending Vajra research info to Galaxy fleet or made Brera steal it later or both). Maybe Michael's sister found out and Leon got her "suicided"...

It is logical to assume that after the Protodeviln left the galaxy they must have left the Varauta fleet behind. Since Galaxy fleet is the leader of current NUNS technology development, is possible they got hold of the fleet or used it as a basis for upgrading their fleet... Wasn't the SDF-1 Macross cannon a "Super Dimension Energy" cannon? The Vajra seem to have a miniaturized version of the same weapon. The Macross Quarter cannon is a "Quantum Particle cannon"... which sounds (and looks!) different to me...

I believe that Brera was inside Macross Frontier the whole time. As posted in other threads, the VF-27 may very well be controlled through VR. Brera could be a cyborg that somehow can remotely control the crimson VF-27... Maybe he stole the VF-27 from the Galaxy fleet by hacking it somehow... And he was employed by Leon to do so...

I believe it was discussed already in the Ep 7 thread. The Vajra had spent their "chaffs" during the long battle with Galaxy fleet... so they were still re-generating more when S.M.S. attacked...

Actually the valks were created specifically to fight the Zentradi. The inspiration for the enemy alien humanoid giants must have come the old Sci-Fi American TV series "Land of the Giants" (1968). I used to watch re-runs of that show when I was a kid. It rocked, hehe...

Well... Both Kazutaka Miyatake & Shoji Kawamori worked in Uchuu Senkan Yamato as interns/guest designers I believe (Kawamori was a teenager back then). Miyatake designed the SDF-1, so I guess he must have seen the original BSG since his Macross design is waaay different than those of Yamato. I read somewhere that Kawamori is a fan of Space Battleship Yamato & it influenced his works a lot... Gamilons= Zentradi Wave Motion Gun = Super Dimension Cannon Wave Motion Engine = Fold Reactor

Well... Besides her obvious good looks... What I like from the character is that is a pretty funny one. She looks very serious when macronized, while she is just hilariously childdish in micloned form... I find the character look (colors and overall design) very good and love her flight suit design a lot (kewl helmet!).

It should also include a scuba dive mask and/or air tank...
