They are supposed to be like 80 years after the original Macross... So that doesn't seem strange to me at all. In fact, I like those designs... they do fit that time-line pretty well...

I'm surprised you didn't include the VF-14 "Vampire" in the poll. Is an official craft. Is very well designed and appeared both in the Macross M3 game and Macross 7. It also resembles my favorite plane of all time, the SR-71 (Jetfire in Transformers 2)...

The preview of episode 12 showed the image of a head similar to Quamzin Kravshera's... Now... I believe it could be: a) Quamzin's son. b) Quamzin himself. c) Quamzin's head in life support (just like Boddole Zer in DYRL). Whaddya think?

The character name of Grace O'Connor was listed at the end credits of episode 10... and she never appeared... apparently. Ergo, the agent was Grace... I never said anything about the seyuu... And I didn't come with any of this. Most ppl in these forums did a couple weeks ago... Where have u been? Watching soccer games or what? Actually is more like this... Galaxy Fleet Cyborgs = Cylons I'm telling you ppl... what remained of Sharon Apple got into the Galaxy Cyborgs CPUs and is controlling them... DUNE all over again!!!! Btw... Many ppl in 4Chan are saying that the image of the Quamzin clone during the preview at the end of episode 11 maybe a severed head in life support... kinda like Boddole Zer in DYRL... Some even say that it is what remains of the original Quamzin. Could it be...?

And still the mecha are great looking. No wonder Shoji Kawamori himself has said that Kazutaka Miyatake is one of his main influences. I find some similarities in the main Orguss mecha and later Kawamori VF designs...

By now it should be pretty clear to anybody who did watch the previous episodes that Grace is a cyborg and can communicate with her mind through VR. She is the one who talked to Leon in episode 10 since there was apparently no Grace in that episode but the voice actress for Grace was listed in the credits (so obvious!). Well Michael, Alto or whatever... the fact is

Well, I have watched some episodes and I must say that the plot is pretty different from anything broadcasted at the time (And even today I believe). Instead of dealing with space wars or alien invasions like most space opera shows, Orguss is more about dimensional space/time travel and multiple realities. Is pretty hard sci-fi if u ask me. I read somewhere that it was the reason for its lower ratings than Macross. The character designs by Haruhiko Mikimoto are very nicely done and the mecha by Kazutaka Miyatake are also superb. Both artists worked together in SDF Macross before Orguss.

Is Jeanne Francaix... Just to add more controversy, hehe (btw, I loved Transformers... the effects at least)... Shoji Kawamori himself was in talks with Galaxy films to do a Live Action Macross Movie back in 1994... The movie was supposed to be released in christmas, 1996... But is still in preproduction hiatus. Wonder if the project will be resurrected some day... (With the recent Transformers/Robotech craze).
