  1. Ok, just placed an order on NY, just in case.
  2. That 21 looks extrange... can you see the battroid shoulder showing? Must be based on the Yamato's 1/72
  3. How secure is NY? Just in case I don't make contact whit my friend in Japan.
  4. There http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6bKukTRTDQ
  5. Call me crazy, but I think is relatively cheap (for a web exclusive item). It is almost the same price for the VF-17D whit the super packs, but clearly the design is far way too complex. I'll be contact my friend in Japan this weekend for this one, YES!!!

    VF-1 toy advice...

A $100 USD figure is not a toy. From HLJ product description: "This item is a completed action toy designed for collectors"
  7. This bird is going to be expensive, everynew pic is a reminder of that. But hell I have to get one!
  8. I'm in only for one, not a big fan of this bird. Hope to make contact whit a friend in Japan soon.
  9. If the legs mounted fast packs are removable for transformation, why they have hinged tabs/pins? If I'm wrong correct me but I remember Graham writhing something about the packs being removable for transformation.
  10. Has this been posted? http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/release_115/index.html
  11. Meh, always thought the Macross F valkyries were a bit ugly, toys does not seem to be better. The only sad point about Yamato valks is the price. For now I'll just sit down and wait for the VF-17D.
  12. Have somebody asked if this release will feature the beam adapter?
  13. Those are v.2 photos, but why the seller show photos of the v.1 boxes (all photos but the boxes one are from several sites)? Maybe he is trying to trick buyers in to thinking they are buying v.2 while they are really getting v.1. Also $271 USD seems a low price for a Max and Millia VF-1J v.2 set.
  14. Just hope to HLJ grab some VF-4s as they did whit the VF-X and other exclusive stuff.
  15. Damn +50 bucks just for the fast packs? Yamato really needs to do something about the their prices.
  16. Looks too sharp to be a transforming toy. The canopy, intakes and the nose looks too sharp.
  17. No need to refresh my 0s or my SVs but, I would be in for a F-14 or a MIG 29 if those come to happen.
  18. Thats very nice. I already own a VF-1D now I wonder if yamato will release this option parts to sold separately. I dont want to go through and buy this valks again just to get some extra parts. Note that Hikaru should be on the lower seat not on the upper one.
  19. How close is this sample to the final production? Because its seems a non-variable model yet. I don't see a single gap .

    SCOOP thread!

Look closely at the head. The sculpt is different. Also the general tone of the color seems to be a little bit darker.
  21. You should not be. There are 74 pages on this tread and only one catastrophic failure reported (and it seems to be derived from a bad manipulation of the toy). I own a VF-17 too and personally I think that the toy is only a little bit more tight than it should be. Out of that it is a very good toy.
  22. About the fast packs: I hope a much more reasonable price. The sound booster for the 19s was a steal. And if the are going to over price it again it whould be nice if yamato includes a FOLD BOOSTER. I have beeing waithing for a damn fold boster for my YF-21. No I'm going to need one for my 17 and may be more since I will be getin' on or 2 of those 17D.
  23. Have you ever considered the price? Even now the 21 and 22 are almost 250, if a revision to the design happens I don think it will be cheap. Now the VF-17 is a much more simple valk whit no complicated transformation or gimmicks. The 21 with all that internal design and the most complex transformation to date, men!!! That would be expensive.
  24. I was hoping for kaiyodo to release this: http://www.hlj.com/product/max06221
