  1. Can someone PM me the weight of the box with the YF-21 in it? -Kevin
  2. The order should be filled. I paid in full back at the end of March.....dammit...
  3. My supplier also confirmed the YF-21 will be out 5/28/08 as well. -K
  4. I believe (not 100% certain) but Toynami purchased all production and distribution rights... BTW- Anyone interested, I have all the pending 1/55 Valkyries available for preorder. Just visit the For Sale section.... -K
  5. Yamato cannot sell their Valks stateside without approval from Toynami since they hold all toy distribution rights outside of Japan. Obvisiouly, George isn't allowing it to happen....
  6. I spoke with George Sohn this afternoon and got a rundown of the how the 1/55 Valkyries are coming to the states. In short, Toynami has partnered with one of the Bandai divisions, Tamashi, earlier this year (February, I recall) and is calling the partnership Toynami/Tamashi Because of this partnership and coupled with the 'Macross distribution rights outside of Japan' licensed through HG, Toynami is able to bring them stateside without involvement/approvals with Big West. The 1/55 molds are the EXACT same as those used to produce the Bandai Valkyries Reissues years back. -K
  7. Shameless plug.... Preorders coming soon from the Valkyrie Exchange! -K
  8. My contact at Toynamic indicated the only CHANGE with the packaging is that it will have a Toynami logo on the box. Other than that, that's all that is expected. I guess we'll see.... One thing I am curious about is that orignally Toycom was willing to pay both royalties to Big West and HG to release the Macross Plus Valkyries. Assuming these 1/55s will outsourced for production through Bandai, I'm wondering if royalties are now being paid out to both BW and HG.... Back in the day with the Macross Plus toys, BW dismissed the idea of having royalties paid to HG for the Valkyries to hit stateside....Did they bow down to the almighty dollar now??? Either way, it's all good news for fans...I can't complain... -Kevin
  9. Was told by my distributor that the YF-21 is delayed to around mid-May for the release....
  10. Yep, the news is true. I just got off the phone with Toynami to confirm this. I'll be getting a preorder offering up very soon! -Kevin

  12. Bottom line - Will it be available through wholesale from Yamato or other Yamato distributors?
  13. It is out....I have my shipment on the way... -Kevin
  14. Sad...Only 28 and gone...He was pretty good with acting too....
  15. One thing to keep in mind is that many Japanese fans can buy from a retailer who can buy directly from Yamato. U.S dealers have to buy through a secondary distributor who adds on their markup after receiving their wholesale discount from Yamato. U.S dealers don't truly get the same discount as a dealer in Japan. Then the U.S dealer adds on air shipping, import taxes, business overhead, etc and their 'profit' to get their asking price. Hence, a much higher price of a Valkyrie stateside. Air shipping is what kills the price for buying a Valkyrie stateside. A dealer can opt to ship via ocean liner but that's a 3-4 week delay and you really need to order a large volume to make it work.
  16. I still have the original Japanese release of these DVDs sitting around if you are interested. They are factory sealed. -K
  17. You won't be able to buy direclty from Yamato Japan. You'll need to find a secondary wholesaler. -K
  18. I have stuff availalble... See the For Sale Section or PM me...
  19. How about producing a Minmay Guard or Paris Act Limited Edition VF-1S
  20. Agreed....At least i can say HG is consistent.....They know how to screw the fans over and over...
