How is this project coming, last time I contributed anything, don't know if it was of use, was almost two years ago I believe. It's been a long time since I peeked around the boards here until a few weeks ago to look up toy releases and not long after the earthquake to find out info besides the mass hysteria the media seemed to be cashing in on.

Oh yeah, I know your feeling about moving. Just recently I've gotten my mega display case my step dad's brother was able to make me according to my specs. I still haven't unboxed all of my Valks for display. Most of them for the most part have been in their boxes since I moved from Japan back in October. I took care of the VF-1s first and the VF-0s and VF-1s, putting them through transformations to ensure integrity, just need to get me some stands from flightpose for some dynamic displays.

They are all posing nice and pretty on my mega display case.

Well, my VF-11 has shipped, I shot them an e-mail explaining what has happened and my expectations regarding product availability and what a pre-order should mean. Hopefully they can sort this out because I don't think I ever received an e-mail concerning a pre-order product becoming available and shipped unless I actually check for myself. That's one thing I wish HLJ did is ship your order once it's available rather than wait for further action on it directly from you.

Quick Q, I just logged onto HLJ because I saw the VF-11 kit was finally available, I checked my account for Open Orders and it said the VF-X was discontinued, I clicked ship everything, and it showed as green for an updated status concerning my stuff, so has HLJ held onto my VF-X? I don't remember receiving an e-mail alert of anything being available for shipping. Does HLJ do that anyways? I hope I get mine.

Just finished transforming mine and compared it side to side with the YF-19 as did others and I am satisfied, the ball joints are holding up on mine and none of the tampo print is damaged unlike other members. Now, if Yamato took lessons learned from the VF-19 and put them into a V2 YF-19, I would gladly pay for it. Between this and the VF-11B, these are the best VF toys from Yamato besides V2 VF-1s which I never had a problem with before.

That's why you don't watch TV and don't Youtube stuff on the films. LOL, damn I hardly watch TV at all.

I would have like to have seen the dance scenes, the whole time during the movie I wondered if we could see the girls dance.

Just watched it and it looked like a live action version of some of those dumb ass anime series featuring school girls/lolitas(even though in the movie they are actually somewhere in their 20s but nonetheless have the appearance of teenager girls) and swords and guns. Kinda like Afro Samurai too, I liked it though, it just lacked a bit of narrative and it seemed like a compilation of music videos. The action in this rivals Zack's other films IMO, especially the parts where they broke it down like in 300, only thing missing was the gore, they should have rated this R instead of PG-13. I'd definitely get this when it comes out on Blu.

Well, full time evacuation of about 87000 people from bases in Japan has commenced. Today at Travis the first wave of "American Refugees" landed at the air terminal, so I wonder if there really is a no sh!t problem, or if it's just a "cover your ass" operation. I would think the latter. We had to send a few volunteers from our side of the base to help the Chair Force out, not quite sure what it consisted of, I didn't feel like going because I felt it was just gonna be humping luggage around and after moving a 500lbs safe, NO THANKS!

Man those are awesome. I just finished reading the book and man is it amazing, really gives you a better idea of what's going on vice the anime, can't wait for the second one later this year.

Yeah, I'm waiting for a quote on a customized book case that can fit in my man cave/guest room and house all of my Valks rather than try and hunt down the perfect one. Nah, I', planning to use the nose/cockpit unit as a spare with the VF-1S kit to create a two seat VF-1"DB" and get some custom made VFA-102 Diamondbacks Side No. 102 50th Anniversary scheme. Just have to find somebody who can make decals or find out a method for me to try at home.

How about the radiation cleaning micromachines from GITS SAC? Now THOSE will definitely resolve the disaster in a short amount of time and then Japan will crush the US and China economically! Yeah, I think it's a joke people over here are hoarding pills considered our distance from that part of the world vice countries like Russia, China and the Korean peninsula. Ah, yeah, one more thing to come out from the Navy, they are recommending all dependents GTFO, it's voluntary of course, and if they do it'll all be handled by the USAF AMC and/or commercial flights.

My biggest issues with Valks right now is that I have nowhere to really display them, I busted out my two YF-19s and VF-0s with Ghosts out in the living room and I'm waiting on a response for a customized book case with enough shelves to house my Valks since they're currently all boxed up still from my move back to California last year. Thanks, my family and in-laws are fine, they should be back here on the 31st.
