  1. Is it known if he did the redesign on cover of the 'Animation Bikes' book? Click image to enlarge.
  2. MP-6 Skywarp was re-released in August. 'Discontinued' is what HLJ's system defaults to if they don't have any stock (instead of 'sold out' or something more useful).
  3. I was really looking forward to giving one to my bro for Christmas too. What is this trend with Japanese toy makers and bogus release dates. Yamato, Takara, Bandai and now Beagle...? edit: And I hope the reason for the delay isn't HG related. I will be really pissed if the reason the Beagle release date was knocked back was to accomodate a pre-Christmas release for HG.
  4. WOW! Thanks for the PM Ruski, I'm not sure I will be able to make it but it's still 6 months away so I will see. I will keep an eye on this thread, but right now I have an urge to make a chocolate cheesecake with pineapple toppings
  5. Yep, Overdrive implied it would be released at the end of this month. Other sites also state November as the release date.
  6. Pipboy Map Where the triangle is. Image
  7. I don't know if there is an actual working version available but F2F (and most other places) were practically throwing these toys out: http://fantofan.jp/clearance.htm
  8. I don't suppose anyone knows if they are re-releasing the blue Alpha as well to coincide with the release of the blue Beta?
  9. Where exactly is that thing? I roamed about the mid nothern section but didn't find it... EDIT: Found it!
  10. They're sold separately for about $50 each from various exporters like Overdrive and FantoFan.jp. Each one is a different Japanese store exclusive.
  11. Thanks for the info Disapointing that the FAST parts are green instead of the advertised grey tho
  12. The Pint-Sized Slasher!!! That was about the only task I failed, I couldn't find the shed or whatever to beat Braun so I went on a rampage dropping karma... I did manage to jump over the other side of the outer fence to a world of black polygons tho
  13. Overdrive have the best deal I've seen at $199 + EMS shipping. LINK I'm not sre if they are still taking preorders but it doesn't look closed... HLJ has them for the RRP of 24000Yen (about $245) + EMS Shipping LINK I don't know if LOS (Lost and Found Toys) or Kevin (Valkyrie Exchange) are taking orders. Due for release at the end of November (yes, about 3 weeks)... The Toynami version would be cheaper for US residents I imagine, but... you know... .
  14. There were CAD drawings for the Beagle and MegaHouse on the net before. I actually started modelling a Ride Armour as well but stopped. F3 was one of the few games of recent times I have actually enjoyed playing. I still can't figure out how they got the wasteland environment to load so fast And I don't think the engine can support vehicles, let alone how difficult it would be to incorporate a transforming one. Was kinda weird that there were all these bikes lying about the wasteland but you couldn't fix one to ride off on
  15. This review is from Ryan, the admin of Seibertron.com. Apparently he usually defends Hasbro when people have gripes. Not this time: 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime review And apparently it's pink... Pinktimus Prime...
  16. Have you read the reviews for the Hasbro 25th Anniversary Prime? Apparently it is utter crap.
  17. Last I heard the Beagle version is due to ship in about a month. (And DAMN I'm glad I preordered in full with Overdrive before the Au$ went to crap!) Toynami has always maintained (since SDCC anyway) they want the Masterpiece version out before the end of this year. Robotech.com says so also, which is as "official" as it's going to get (untill they change it).
  18. Hasbro was asked this by a member of the IDW Forums. From: http://forum.idwpublishing.com/viewtopic.p...91d8467a21ffefa
  19. Overdrive has the cheapest price I've seen. $199.99 + shipping, which is about 20% off RRP. They have my orders anyway LINK
  20. The Bandai VF-25 is. (The various other Hasegawa kits are not). Bandai 1/72 Scale Macross Frontier Plastic Models, Official Discussion Thread
  21. The toys wouldn't provide you with the best 3D sources. Invest in the model kit instead, that way you can see the individeul pieces unassembled. Model kit instructions often have isometric views too which are extremely useful for 3D modeling. Plus it's alot cheaper. I've done it several times using toys and kits as sources.
  22. Fiscally, it makes sense for Toynnami to have their stock created at the same time as Beagle and manufactured at the same factory with the same assemblers. The Toynami Mastrpiece is supposed to come with an additional head and the book-style packaging. It looks like they are set to release about a month apart which would makes sense for the additional manufacturing and import into the USA. Toynami are however notoriously unreliable.
  23. You could try contacting HLJ.com here and follow the appropriate instructions. Yes, Takara are known for their level of customer care. I had a finger snap off Music Label Soundwave a while ago and they were able to get me a replacement part. If you can you should attach a pic or two of the pieces you are after in your email so there is no confusion as to what you are after. I scanned the parts list from ML Soundwave and circled the part I wanted cos there were various hands that came with it. HLJ will charge a buck or two for the service (weather you ordered from them or not) but their smallest shipping box might be a bit expensive considering the size of the part. Depends what it's worth to you. If that fails PM me and I will try to organise a spare for you, but it will be shipping from Australia.
  24. It was still Dreamwave when it was written, but 'The War Within' is good if you can track it down. Recently republished by IDW as'Transformers:War Within'.
