  1. YES! That's the REAL zentradi way!

    Wow...

    MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. It was.
  4. Me, once. ... Almost twice, but the memory card ate my save the first time and I had to start over.
  5. I don't think Legend of Dragoon was a Square game .... But I'm glad somebody mentioned Super Mario RPG Legend of Dragoon was a Sony-developed game. ... As well as a very painful reminder of why they don't develop many games. And FF7's ending is VERY open to interpretation.
  6. *ahem* FF4-6, on the SNES. The Playstation ports have inexcusable problems(like MASSIVE slowdown and load times), and sold ONLY because they had the FF name on them. Ditto for Chrono Trigger, which is hopelessly easy, but has one of the best game soundtracks of all time. I may be in the minority here, but Chrono Cross is quite enjoyable. Parasite Eve and Parasite Eve 2 are great. The Front Mission series is also quite good. Einhander. Whoever decided Square should make a scrolling shooter made a good call. FF9 is good. The NES title Rad Racer is a Square game, though this fact is unknown to many. FF7 is mediocre, hardly as good as everyone says. Avoid FF8 like the plague. UN Spacy: Rumor is that the next PE game is going to be called "Parasite Eve: Rebirth" and will be a remake of the first game.
  7. What's being discussed is really the "trim" around the lens(which is shown as both white and gray, depending on where you're looking), not the lens itself(which is unarguably green).
  8. A red wine.
  9. Yes, but they weren't all infected with leprosy when they did so.
  10. But, but... it's a whole extra thumb motion!
  11. There's no way to skip the ending. ... Which I didn't like.
  12. Well, I wasn't working for Gamestop then. I'm just saying what the case is now. Not suprising, given Gamestop didn't exist when Mortal Kombat hit shelves.
  13. CGI animation Nah. They were clones of the originals.
  14. I would have thought the techs would alert somebody if he was bleeding that badly. Why would you see a pool of blood and then not go and ask to see if he was okay? It's not as if they didn't know who flew the fighter either. I don't know too many other fighter pilots with that sort of paint scheme on a Valkyrie. They were also commenting on his treatment of the vehicle. They knew EXACTLY who flew Skull One.
  15. That's EXACTLY how I play! somethin' somethin' 30%? That's my heal spell. somethin' somethin' +3? Movement up. Lots of japanese, no #s? Auto-revive.
  16. I think ExoSquad was an early 90s show. ... Not that it matters. My local KayBee still has toys from the 80s. If anyone needs a Terminator 2 toy, I know where to get one.
  17. It's Claudia.
  18. As is stated on the 8th card.
  19. you like the G1 version of galvy over this? G1 galvy wasn't even close to the cartoon in any mode, this atleast looks like him in robot mode. Who CARED what he looked like. He turned into a tank AND a ray gun! With lights! And sound! LIGHTS AND SOUND, MAN!!! ... What?
  20. Because it would "confuse people." ... Specifically the people that don't understand the diffrence betwen the products and keep asking for "uncut Robotech" or "undubbed Robotech" or some such nonsense. I read somewhere that Animeigo'd been trying to get the rights for DYRL, but the paper trail got too long for them to feasibly track down who, if anyone, actually HAS the license right now, so they dropped it. Same old story. And for once, it's one that doesn't involve HG.
  21. I got a response: From: "Info Info" <xxxx@tokyopop.com> Date: Tue Sep 23, 2003 08:26:45 PM US/Eastern To: "Jeff Sorley" <xxxx@theroots.org> Subject: RE: Macross 7 Trash Hi, Macross 7 is temporarily on hold. More information regarding it will be issued as more information comes in. Thanks for your patience! Make of it what you will. Sounds to me that BW didn't like TokyoPop involving HG. What ever the outcome it seems to me that HG has more than proven that they're willing to have Macross and RT co-exist. As long as they get a piece of the action.
  22. Well, I know I got the Cowboy Bebop Movie about two weeks before its street date at a Fred Meyer department/grocery store in Springfield, Oregon. I don't know if my local Suncoast (in Torrance, CA -- the Del Amo Mall) had it that early, but he told me they'd never release it before the street date, for fear of the studio embargoing future releases. I don't know, maybe movies and CDs do get shipped early. But believe me on this one, a videogame can get canned the day before the street date, and we'd never see it in the store. I remember a bunch of stores were selling Mortal Kombat early.
  23. Emulator... http://www.mame.net. Nice GUI is very vague, so I'll offer my definition... http://www.mameworld.net/emuloader/ Games... http://www.mame.dk (currently offline due to the recent release of MAME 0.74 and people hammering it for the new rom image sets) Or http://www.planetemu.net (french, but easy enough to navigate)
  24. Bit flashy for a ninja, isn't she? Not that I'm complaining at all, of course.
  25. My favorite genre of movie is "not an insult to my above-gerbil intelligence". Regrettably, Hollywood doesn't make too many of these.
