  1. Yes, check the For sale section of the forum.
  2. After a long hibernation, I managed to make a new sheet of SDF-1 stickers for the 1/3000 toy. It has almost all the marks to redecorate your old toy. It will go for US$10 shipped.
  3. Hey! Just so this post, I have not been around on the forum for quite some time. Seems there is some interest for a SDF-1 sticker reissue . I will give it a shot and hope to find the best material for this. Give me a week to see if It’s possible.
  4. DX cockpit with some painting detail looks great.

    Hi-Metal R

I just got an email from HLJ, they cancelled my order due to a system error. HLJ has to fix those errors as they have become frecuent with Macross toys.

    Thanks Smacky, got both!
  7. The HUD decal was part of one of my first custom stickers for the Yamato 1/48 toy. Those are long sold out, I'm no longer making stickers. I was lucky to keep one that had that display sticker.
  8. Custom stickers for toys are a thing of the past. Toys have improved considerably and now Arcadia and Bandai use tampo markings as standard. I'm glad Bandai has added tons of markings for the DX, more than Arcadia. It looks very nice.
  9. Got my DX VF-1J and this is the toy I always wanted. It is so pretty!. Almost no need for mods, but I had to add some detail to the gun and laser cannons as someone already did. Anybody already detailed the cockpit? I've always been a fan of a good cockpit for the VF-1. Here is mine and looks great. I will try gerwalk mode next.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

There is a similar picture on the japanese site https://nov.2chan.net/y/res/3794910.htm but the broken one is the right leg. Does it mean we have brittle plastic issues like the infamous VF-171 cannon fodder?

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

For those complaining about how frustraiting this toy is to transform. Well, it is not a regular toy that you can play with like the early Macross 7 toys from Bandai. This new line of DX toys involves complex engineering, and thus it takes a bit of study to transform them specially the YF-19. Reading the instructions is mandatory, unfortunately it is in japanese. Fortunately there are videos from Bandai of how to transform it step by step. But I recommend to wait for Anymoon’s video, he gives you every detail of the toy. There should be a video from him of the VF-19 Advance which is the same toy, that should be enough to go through transforming it without breaking it apart.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

The fold booster is so detailed! Expensive, but this new YF-19 is worth each dollar.
  13. Who won't buy it? Most avid fans were ready to pay US$250 or more for the new 1/48. Watching the new design and price, now everybody wants it!
  14. December is going to be special, very special.
  15. Looks nice! The nosecone looks kind of short. Interchangeable parts or some new gimmick to make it longer in fighter.

It should say SOLDOUT, not ROLLOUT.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

Got cancelled by HLJ, but got a 10% discount. My instinct served me well and I had ordered an extra with Amiami. All is ok in the world.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

Correct me if I'm wrong. For the first time we will have the same valkyrie type (YF-19) in 1/60 scale, made from two different companies. Am I right?
  20. Is the Arcadia VF-0S the most expensive 1/60 valkyrie ever made?

    Bandai DX VF-31

Just to let you know guys, When I got my Draken I saw a very tiny spot of gold paint on a wing. I was bothered by that and used isopropyl alcohol to remove it. It worked well for me with my Yamato/Arcadia valks when doing panel lines. On my Draken, the spot was hard to remove to and rubbed with a little force. I got the spot removed but left a bigger shiny spot of the plastic color. In other words, it removed the matte finish. I was sad but was able to conceal the shiny spot by sanding it with a fine grit paper. Be careful using rubbing alcohol on the Bandai valks.
  22. Bandai, please come to the rescue! Release a cheaper perfect grade version.
  23. Try heating that part with a hair dryer and see if it melts or become soft. Then try to shave it carefully with an Xacto knife.
