Hobby Link Japan really does excellent after sell support. They will give me full refund for my broken Hi-metal Hikaru, including the shipping cost of returning the toy.

If I send the toy back, I will have to pay for shipping and if there is no stock for replacement, then I will be very upset. I hope HLJ gives me credit for a future buy then. If it's a good amount, I'll take it.

Got my H-Metal R VF-1J from HLJ yesterday. After opening the box and taken out the toy, the leg connector broke Did not force anything, just lifted the toy from the plastic cover and the right leg did not come out. Impossible fix. Have to send it back to get a new one?

I think this one will cost 60k. It will be a dollfie dream sister, a bit smaller than the regular dollfies.

Bandai is doing a great job with the Hi-Metal R line. Money well spent.

In my case, the AE deal is more convenient. The reason is that I will get an invoice with the price of the item of less than $200. In my country toys that don't exceed that price, don't pay customs tax, which is around 26% of the price including shipping.

Anybody knows the weight of the Monster with package? I pulled the trigger with AE but forgot to see the shipping estimates. It costs a lot to my country even with the 10% discount.

One of the reasons I did not order the monster is shipping. And adding customs to the mix, it would cost me 200 dollars more to have it. I will only hope for a big discount later on and try to buy it then.

I would remove the piece and drill on both parts with dremel. Then I will join both parts with a metal pin and glue it. Would take time and the piece is very small but I think it can be fixed.

We problably get a HMR VF-2SS and perhaps will be a limited edition. Macross II does not sell like the other series.

Arcadia was stupid releasing the exact same toy. Why not changing the color a little bit?

Despite all the flaws, the price was reasonable this time. I was trying to buy it, but I had problems with the page not loading. I gave up and waited for a few hours and it was too late. It's all right, there might be another version of this VF with all the problems fixed as it is with the VF-0S.

Perfect move by Bandai. I wanted a naked VF-1J Hikaru and don't need to buy another GBP. I'll pose it in fighter and put those upper covers on the Focker.

I recommend using Buyee. Commision is low and they have the private warehouse option like HLJ.

Pictures of my Hikaru in fighter with a custom stand borrowed from a Medicom RAH figure. I also did a mod and some paint details to it, looks great.
