Got my slide card today but no game. Here's a hint...Make sure your slide card is right side up. Its not labeled and seems to only work when the tab with the hook is to the right. Its a pain in the ass until you get the hang of it. you feel like your breaking your PS2. Also use a sewing needle to losen the pins for the cover. cheers.

I'll post one when I get it. I should have the slide card in a day or two and will try it on VFx2 and Macross plus game ed.

First off...Great that yammie is making a 1/60 GBP! I'll probably wait for the 1/48 since the 1/60 line has been a total disappointment to me. What I want to ask is why couldn't Yamato make a simple posable to be encased in the armor? It would have to have the same dimensions as the 1/60 valks. This would solve the problem of loose hips and such that make standing a 1/60 nearly impossible let alone with strike armor on it. I can't see a 1/60 holding up the weight of the GBP armor very well. A simple posable could solve that problem. Next add in a shoulder conversion kit for those who want a transformable 1/60 in it. If they did that I would buy it. Since they probably won't I'll pass. Unfortunately what I forsee is a lot of people screaming about how their GBP can't stand...much like the problems with the elint. this may result in poor sales.

That D is just missing a newspaper with a minmay cover story. Add that and its perfect.

I'm just curious. I know that many of us started out there until we found out the truth behind Robotech. Personally I was booted about 3 times for remarks about the Volume 1 MPC. Haven't been on the site since about the time vol 1 MPC came out and I got totally ripped off. So what do you all think about the site and the majority of people there. Reason I ask is because of the trouble RT Purist has caused recently. Please just comment and don't start a war. j

That's pretty much the holy grail around here for items under a grand. Over a grand would be the Mospeada Tread.

Mine's preordered and ready. Unfortunately had to order a slide card too but oh well it macross. Got I hope is has multiplayer online capibility. j

Crap! forgot about that route. By the way there are PS2 Emulators out there...they just don't work very well and it would be a long shot if macross would work.

As long as the new game is as good as VFX-2 I'll buy it and the slide card. If its not as good I'll probably skip it. It already looks better. I just hope that I can't beat it in a single night like I did with VFx2, M3 and VO. I need something with enduring playability. An online feature for dogfights would be nice too... I hate split screen fighting.

How will you play the new macross PS2 game?

I'm thinking about getting a slide card but keep hearing conflicting info about it. If you have one, what can it do for me and do you like it? I'm really only interested in playing the new Macross game and backing up some of my PS2 games so the kids don't scratch them. Please help... I need to order soon.

Can anyone suggest a good site to purchase a slide card for my PS2? Don't really understand how the card works but it looks like the cheapest route to play the new macross game. Looking for sites you've purchased from before and some advice as to if this is the right route to take. ALso has anybody else heard there is an disc maketed in the US to play imports thats available at gamestop for the gamecube....I heard one is comming out for PS2 around x-mas

I always got dry Ice from Local beer distributorships (AB is my preference here) and grocery stores. More likely to find large amounts of dry ice in about a month (it won't be melted when it arrives). good luck.

While your at it can you recast the minmay too. She'd look awful nice next to a valk. Sell them in a 2 pack.

If freezing in your freezer doesn't work you could try using dry Ice. To do so all you need is a cooler and something to seperate the ice from the toy (think metal grate like in the bottom of a charcoal grill. Seal the pale and it should lower the temp of your toy faster than a freezer. You might want to remove the canopy if possible. Dry Ice freezes things very fast (not as fast a nitrogen gas but very fast) so fast that it can make a beer can sing (it starts to whistle because its cooling so fast) and remove hail damage from cars (rapid temp change pops out the dent). If you get enough Dry Ice you should be able to freeze the toy in about 10-20 minutes. It'll freeze a can of beer solid after about 8 minutes. Good luck

My first Valk. Original Bandai Joke machine. VF1S bought for me in Dinkytown MN by my grandmother. I was the only kid that had one of these. Price she paid...$7.99. I had many friends try trading me Jetfire for it but I never would...I like Jokes too much and hated the red on Jetfire...Later I gave this to my cousin who still has it. Its in mint condition with well over 2000 hours of play behind it. He still even has all the parts and box. The little thing is indestructable.

Hey that's the Rocks Valk. He's gonna rock bottom a power armor. Can you smeeeeeeeeeeeeell what the Rock is Flyin' This could be revolutionary. A valk that can body slam its enemies. Then he'll drop the UN Spacy Elbow. Wow and the colors are gay just like the Rock himself.
