That white vintage style box art was actually a part of featured article page of Dengeki Hobby Magazine. They took a photo of acutal painted model then made to look like a model package. It would be nice to have a large poster of those box arts.

It's an Yamato online exclusive and you need to preorder on their website. First cut-off day is 21st of this month. They will take another preorder for next few months. But I don't think they take international orders, so you probably have to buy from scalpers.(EXO)

It's just a concept art, they can design whatever they want. But I feel that artist has absolutely no respect for the original design of Voltron/ Golion, or either the artist is so young that he never watched the original cartoon.

Pilot figure and cockpit detail are different from VF-1J/A kit.

Size comparison from Macross Mecha Manual I think T-Rex figure is correct size for 1/60 scale.

Damn the graphic and detail look fantastic! But I want to see someone develops Macross game in vertical 2D arcade style like Raiden, or Raystorm. I see so many 3D graphic games and they're great, but I like simple arcade style shooter.

I'm not so sure if that's original. It looks too big for that size. They must be upsized digital reproduction. I wonder how much those pieces went for.

I got an extra 1/72 YF-21 real cheap, so I wanted to paint a custom Low Vis style. I wanted to display only as a fighter mode, so that I did not paint all inside areas. It only took about 5 hours. It was very fun working on it.

Few updates.

Unfortunatelly there's not much you can do to fix. Hinges and shafts are too small that evev if you glued back they will snap and fall off again. Only way to salvage this model is to glue back and stay in one position ( fighter, gerwalk, or battroid mode ), and display as non-transforming model. Or better yet, make a small diorama.

I got inspired from the sketches from Shoji Kawamori's Macross design book. It's one of early design of gunpod, and I thought it will be cool to have Valkyrie to have a different type of weapon other than standard gunpod. It is full scratch built, but I used a handle grip and a tip of barrel from the original toy Later I'm going to mold this and have some painted. If anybody interested in this piece please give me a PM

That's only place you can find right now. http://www.monstersinmotion.com/cart/macross-robotech-item-list-a-z-c-35_152/macross-vf-4-valkyrie-resin-model-hobby-kit-p-134 The kit is a recast of recast of recast, and comes with a horrible copied decal sheet. Unless you have super model building skill, I would not recommend it. I'm sorry if this reply not helpfull.
