  1. Hasegawa 1/72 scale VF-1J in Custom Royal Australian Air Force 75SQN colors. Mods are the cut and extended flaps and airlerons, positioned rudders and WM CHeng's patented styrene gap fill method between the wings. Also the feet/legs were drilled out to accept the mounts for the stand. I have yet to add the clear pieces to the wings and nose as I have placed 3 sets of clear parts somewhere very safe. I think I used every shade of grey that Tamiya produce whilepainting this kit. Cheers, Brett T
  2. Looking good Cowie! Nice to see that the Krapliackistan project ended up well for somebody I really like the B&W pics - nice touch
  3. Hey the proportions on those don't look too bad. Are those pics of the released version or are they promo pics with better than average paintjobs?
  4. Hey I'll be in on that! Just let me know what Destroids you want and I'll punch a couple your way
  5. Bah. Theiving is low. Plus whoever it was was invite by MR to attend their function and returned the favour by stealing.

Nice work man, that no mean effort to come up with the goods against so much competition
  7. Nice work Sean - so the big girl finally makes it eh
  8. Hey Mech Tech this is coming along nicely. Though I don't envy the job of building all those destroids.
  9. StuG and base are almost done. Just a few touch ups to go, plus painting the fugures.
  10. One thing I noticed around this place is that if they don't get an immeadiate response or immeadiate satisfaction then the biatching factor goes right up. So many times I see clamouring for fast shipping or service, only to have whatever decal/kit etc sit on the shelf for years doing nothing - great going guys keep it. EDIT: I really hate the draconian MW auto edits.
  11. Sorry did you say you were recasting the VF-1D cockpit conversion?
  12. Forgot to say I was looking for battroid sculpts. Are the K&M toys 1/144?
  13. So what good scuplts are avaliable in 1/144 for the good old VF-1? I did a bit of a search on the main site and this forum but could find anything useful. Cheers, Berttt
  14. It;s been a while since my last post in this thread so: Here is a progress shot of my 1/72 Dragon Stug and Hasegawa Kittengrad.
  15. Nicely done.... and for me the best part is that they are fully finished kits. I really should get a move on....
  16. Nice work dude. Scale Solution workshop is just near me (actually just one room in the bloke's house) and I had a chance to go and say G'day. That ship is nice and I should get off my arse and order one before its too late. Nice work man, I look forward to seeing more of this
  17. Hey Cowie, no that isn't the Imai nose on that one. This picture shows the builder using some sort of resin replacement: [attachmentid=41992]
  18. Minor update: I have been working on a replacement knee section that will be far more acceptable. It isn't 100% finished yet as there are a few flaws to fix, but I squited some grey on for these pics since I won't be able to work on it for a few weeks . I had to redo some sections a few times to get it right, but in the end I think it turned out ok. Here is the new section with the regular leg: [attachmentid=41791][attachmentid=41792][attachmentid=41795] And with the as yet unmodified FAST pack leg: [attachmentid=41794][attachmentid=41793] and mocked up with part blu-tacked together: [attachmentid=41796] I have one more part to make up and then I can send the lot off to the casters. Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers, Berttt
  19. You'll do a better job faster on the second kit anyway, and Valk bits never go to waste.
  20. LOL Cowie I'm not ragging on you for bringing non Macross to the thread, just that I know you have more goodies stashed away and want to see what you come up with That Kraplikistan group build was some funny stuff.
  21. Damn Sean I was all for getting heated up and spam HG for what they had done! Nice work man, I too am on April 2nd so ya got me, that and the very convincing line about sending out the first 10 kits - nicely played. Cheers, Berttt
  22. Nice work on the kits Cowie. One thing though they aren't macross kits so get building!
  23. Nice work bloke. Was the recast any trouble?
