  1. what about using window tint?? they come in a variety of shades and colours and are uv protected, but i think the only downside to this choice would be cost.
  2. sorry shiyau....i thought it was an ok price for the prime.....here in Canada it sells for $100 Can at only a few stores...if you can find it anyway..... ....and as for the takara version....i would love to own that myself, but at the current price, i think i'll pass...besides, i'm happy with the hasbro version i currently own...not too mention getting lucky with the sale at walmart just before christmas...i picked mine up for $50 at walmart during a half price sale
  3. i don't think you have looked hard enough on ebay prime
  4. It must be official, BT-11 is Ravage. It's up for pre-order at bigbadtoystore.com, along with BT-12 which must have had a recent name change as it is now listed as Overdrive. Ravage Overdrive Yes it's true!! BT-06B Tracks will come with a G1 style sticker for the hood of tracks...
  5. Just found this bootleg on ebay.......comes with a bubble wand too...lol http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...ssPageName=WDVW
  6. Cheap rotating base you say.....how about this???? http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...ssPageName=WDVW
  7. If Takara can make a G1 re-issue Megatron, then I'm sure they can at least make an MP Megatron. I could care less if Hasbro made one or not.
  8. Uxi has made a good point. I would love to see the Transfomers in their Cybertron mode before they came to earth. Maybe that way Takara can make a Masterpiece Megatron. By the way, does anyone know what he transformed into while on Cybertron??
  9. So you're into the techno/electronic stuff.......try Wipeout XL (songs by Photek, Future Sound Of London, Chemical Brothers, etc.), N2o (you can just buy the first Crystal Method cd though, same songs), Akira and Ghost In The Shell also have great soundtracks!!! Quake (forgot which one, but Trent Reznor did the soundtrack, and Alice ( Chris Vrenna from NIN also did that one). If I can think of more, I will post them too, but I can tell you right now, I might forget
  10. Does anyone have, or know where I can find pictures of the Monster????

    HLJ Sale Again!!

For those looking for 1/60 CF's...I have 2 for sale here
  12. All I can add to this topic is: what will Megatron look like????????
  13. Personally, I wouldn't like to see any anime as a live action movie, well, maybe Ninja Scroll. I would like to see A7's Macross cast in action though!!!
  14. What!!! No Macross!!!!!! Vampire Hunter D, Princess Mononoke, Wicked City, Blood, The Last Vampire, Final Fantasy, Battle Angel, Spirited Away, Alice In Wonderland and all the ones previously mentioned!! Personally, I think you can enjoy Macross Plus without knowing the background, but that's only my opinion. Actually, I think I might watch it right now!!!!!
  15. Aside from my Macross addiction, the only thing that keeps me from buying more Macross toy's is music and anything related to it. If I'm not spending upwards of a $100 on a cd, it's either a new drum, music software for my computer as well as hardware, stereo equipment and dog food!!! So far I have well over 200 cd's (I know that's not much, but when they cost $30 or more Can. it's still expensive!!) A Yamaha RX-V530 receiver with a Pioneer Elite cd player and an X-Box, DVD player next and Paradigm Monitor 9's. As soon as I can afford it, a powered sub, center channel and surround speakers are next as well. I have for my computer 2 versions of Cubase, Reason, Rebirth, Wavelab, Recycle Lite, Pro Tools LE and Cakewalk. As for my drums, I have a Djembe and a Doumbek. I just love how they sound!!! And of course, my Siberian Husky!!!!

    Hello all....

Hello fellow Canadians, and welcome to the boards Caufield!!! I have also been looking for a good place to buy my Macross toy's here in Canada, and I am happy to say, I think I found a good place to buy from. Link 2 Cool Toys The prices are similar to Big Bad Toy Store, but the shipping is a flat rate of $6 to anywhere in Canada. Ontario residents have to pay G.S.T & P.S.T. He also combines shipping costs on multiple purchases. Just placed my first order, and hopefully not my last!!! Oh yeah, almost forgot!! Great selection of Transformers!!!!! Caufield, if you are buying online from the states, so far I find BBTS to have the best shipping rates. As for duty costs, the most I have paid was about $15 Can. on a 1/60. Haven't bought a 1/48 yet, so I can't tell you how much that would be. As for Ebay, I recommend buying within Canada. Shipping charges are usually no more than $10 (U.S) no duty charges and very rarely are there any taxes added to the purchase. So far, Primekiller and Briareos (also a macrossworld member) are the best to deal with!!!!
  17. I don't know about the sand color, but a flat black armor and fast packs with detailed panel lines and missile's in the low vis color would give it more of a stealth like appearance I think!!
  18. Thanks nemesis120!!! Trying that right now. Now, I hope I can find some glue to fix this piece tonight.
  19. I just got my Miria VF-1J today and I opened the box just a few minutes ago. The hinge that holds the rear wing section the the body of the plane is broken in half. I am in the process of fixing it, but I would prefer a new piece. Before I go any further, does anyone have any tips for me that could help me remove the broken hinge??? The piece that holds it on is glued on so good, that I'm afraid I may break something else. Please check my other post if anyone here has a replacemet part. Wanted
  20. I have bought all my Macross toys from Ebay so far, but there seems to be a shortage of sellers in Canada lately, so I'm going to have to find other, more reliable sources. Not to mention spend more money than I probably do now
  21. 1/60 = 6 1/72 = 3 1/48 = 0
