  1. A TV version of Roy's/ Hikaru's VF-1S and TV version Fast packs.... That could work!!

Hey Vostok 7, That is true, but with 1/60 being the scale size from now on, could open more doors for color schemes. Even a few we have not seen before in mass release!!! ;)

  2. With this made, I hope Yamato decides to also give the VF-1A TV Max Type a shot..

That VF-1S is amazing!!!!! I'll wager a few bucks that a TV & DYRL VF-1A max are both in the works, Since Yamato is 1/60 all the way now, They will probably do every scheme possible. (Maybe even Kakizaki's VF-1A....)

  3. next? Hows about....

    CF-1A

    ,

    Kakizki 1A

    ,

    GBP-1S

    ,

    VT-1

    ,

    TV Max 1A !

    ,

Angel Bird 1A or Max 1A (dunno about the Angel Bird...)

    ,

Shadow VF-1 (not stealth, the ones we saw in the hanger mid way through the sdf series...)

    ,

    VE-1!

    then the Non-Canon schemes!!!!

I'm pretty sure these designs are all in the works as we speak. A low. Vis. #1 scheme would be great to see again, still can't afford the 1/48 version.

  4. Maybe someone around here with the skills and enough love for the 11 would like to try and engineer a storable system for larger vertical fins as his next project and sell the kits to us, as I don't see Yamato revisiting that particular issue anytime soon.

I know some MWers have a few good ideas already.

Once the VF-11B is available, I'm pretty sure quite a few people will try to enlarge the tail fin and make them storable. Its the VF-11B, theres a lot of love for it!!!!

  5. Shouldn't the question be what is the least worst QC Yamato ever made. Amazing how a company that produces toys with such poor QC can survice. Personally I don't think they are that much better than Toynami.

    Go Bandai!

    That's a bold statement!!!

  6. I'm worried I'm starting to lose interest in my model building. I've got a huge backlog of kits now, including a half finished VF-1J Battroid, and a half finished VF-0s battroid. I bought the Mac frontier models, hoping a good build, without painting (except the canopy and clear parts), putty, and all that crap would help me get motivated to finish all my Hasegawa's. It didn't work, I built both Frontier kits, and I still dread going to work on my Battroids. It seems like so much work just to do them anymore. It's been a long, long time since I've finished one, and I hope that maybe if I bring myself to finish one, it will re-spark my interest. I mean, it's gotten so bad I've considered going back to being a "toy boy", and I sold off most of my Yammies to get into models. Basically, any advice from anyone who's been here would be great.

Hey Excillon, the best remedy is to take a break from doing models at all, I took along one before I started working on Models of any kind, since its been a while ( year or so) I enjoy making them again, Macross & Navy Aircraft kits. but if your trying too coax or mentally trick yourself into making them, you still won't enjoy it as much, basically its burn out from model making, we've all been there one way or another.... glue & putty and smudges oh my!!

Take a break my friend, the passion will return, it always does!! B))

  7. Well I hope Bandai might do it-- they are releasing a 1/72 Varja afterall, so they might go on to release it in 1/60, and continue releasing some Zentraedi soldiers that were seen in Eps 13-14? Heh. its a low probability but one can dream.

Let's hope so, its a toy concept thats well over due!!

  8. Hey Hikuro, was just watching your fan-dub of Macross Zero episode 1, i gotta say, I like, alot!! The sounds effects are the same as the series, everyone did a great job on the voice acting and Shin & Roy are kick ass!!

Will you be doing all 5 episodes. I have all the older FX DVD's, quality is ok, but the translation sucks ass. This is the 1st i have been able to watch, listen and love Macross Zero for all it is!!

Keep up the great work bro!!
