If I remember correctly the V1 went with the route of using rubber round covers, but those look out of place in every possible way so they dropped that on V2. I think what they are doing on recent release is brilliant by integrating the covers in the panel line. It'd be best if they leave a small indentation on the cover for maintenance, but the MW members will complain irregardless.

It's a decade old toy. They have improved that on VF-0, but not the way you think by having merely a cover. They strategically integrated that into the panel line.

That purple hue is coming in hot.

Like many have pointed out, the chest, shoulder and crotch are too big for the 0S, and maybe a bicep ring is needed to beef up.

Mr. K did mention his concern in the tweet, and he is considering to do the same approach he did on GBP-1S. Probably raise the cost from current 2 parts to 4 parts per arm by having extra hands and wrist base.

I wonder why can't they include the VF-1A Head in hikaru VF-1S or max as well.

You can address or complain the problem, but not the fact that you are still blaming the toy from HLJ for not able to return it if you break it down the road because you have passed the 10-day windown. The whole point that davidwhangchoi was saying is you took the money option, so you have to live with the stuck ankle or risk breaking it.

The worst case would be running another new batch of missing parts to assembly new toys with previous left over parts.

Placed an order with hlj as soon as it showed up, but i eventually received the confirmation 40 mins ago.

+1 I wish the 0S has the white background though just for the heck of it. The black background is so yamatoish and looks out of place with 0D and 0A.

It doesn't cost much to have the leg tempo printed, but it cost a lot when you have to toss the legs in the trash because of misalignment.

I always prefer the off white on dyrl from Yamato, it adds some character to the already awesome toy.

Still a good display piece for what it is.

I like the off white, at least it's not pure white in color to begin with.

It should be around 14" at 1/35 scale.

Probably the first VF-1 toy that doesn't has the visible pin or misshaped panel line on the gerwalk joint like the yamato's or it's 1/100 counterpart, but hopefully they won't repeat the pop out knee caps like the 1/72 model kit did.
