  1. Id want it 1/60. id like em all in the same scale.
  2. Well, i guess on the 21 id want a fair bit of improvment. id want to be able to handle and pose the figure without it feeling so fragile. better transform, or somehow made so that the legs can be stored in somethign less than 20 minutes of fiddling. hands that can hld the guns without having to be replaced. a more solid feel to the battloid mode. U know the more I think about it, the more I realise the 21 was really just let down by its alt modes. I didnt mind the fighter, but then I am not as concerned with lineart accuracy as a lot of u guys. i just want a nice LOOKING fighter. If it looks sleek and cool; Im in. It was the way u couldnt really do anything cool with the battloid mode that anoyed me. the legs flopped everywhere at the hips, the back basically blocked most arm movement....in tryuth its my least favourite of the transforming valks, simply because it just always felt a bit off. Ill by a 1/60 YF-21, but I suspect no matter how much improves, it will never be my favourite. As for the 11B, I love the 1/72 scale toy, but some fixes would be great. The shoulders need to be made more solid somehow, with a less scary bar system designed. the pieces that sit just inside the shoulders and cover the swingbar from view need to be more securely able to lock into place. the tailfin need to be longer. The hips need to be able to sit more flush in fighter mode. And Gerwalk as a whole needs to be done just BETTER so that the wings have some more support. The heatshield....i dont seehow it can be a part of the fighter and still work. I dont know how it goes in the lineart or the "actual" plane, but i suspect the cockpit recesses and it fold up from the front and back, somewhat like a 1D. i think the engineering invovled in that would be more complicated than is necessary, so Id be ok with some kind of snap on heat shield in this case. Come to thinjk of it, does the viewport on the 21 close up in battloid?
  3. he has more strickers on than me. What are all the stickers on the sheet for anyway? Some of them just seem to be randomly on the sticker sheet with no definied purpose.
  4. same. I just like the idea of having them. i see no real hassle with putting in at leasta swivel so the wheels sit in the housing sideways. i think the sliding in and out nose tube might be a bit much. While not impossible, I see it as adding cost to make without really afdding a tonne to the toy. As for ejecto limbs, Im with Kensei; I tdoesnt need to have em, and I forsee it being more problematic than solving problems
  5. The 21 toy was a BIT CH to get back into fighter mode in 1/72. if and when they DO make a 1/60, i just hope its easier to transform. But lets face it, Yamato has come a long way since then, so its safe to assume we'll be fine
  6. i dont think so, no. Doesnt sound like this has happeend to anyone else though
  7. i got mine today. i love it, I think its an awesome mecha. Mine is fault free, and i have transformed it multiple times now. Very cool toy, Im happy as a clam
  8. hey guys tanx all for the replies, I decided to wait and see till i got my garland, which i did today. I think Id need a cool military lookijng character. Hell, if i could find a Macross looking guy, id use him and add UN spacey stickers to the garland or something. In all, they are a bit to pricey to import for my money. But thanx all for showing me some pics
  9. oo, i like that pic. I ike the light grey/white colour
  10. i just like the idea of having good valks in all scales. the 1/60 valk, i feel, is a let down in many areas where i like the 48. hell, even just a Skull schemed one. i want one of every type of Macross fighter in Skull squadron type and colours. all the "s" equivilant if that fighter has one. a little roy museum.
  11. there u go, i circled em for ya basically, the pins just slide free of their houseing when there is slack put on the hinge. i can slide them back in no sweat, Im just trying to figure a way to make em stay. Kensei has suggested wood glue, but the more I looked at it, the more i think all I need to do is find a way to plug the end hole somehow. Im still working on it. And on the garland front; Juast got mine, and its perfect
  12. id prefer an optional ghost as well. I like the 0A, but not so keen on the ghost
  13. wow, really? no one else had this?
  14. its a pretty far away shot! the light isnt great. It may just be the light isnt hitting the fighter right...
  15. i know the VF-1 is a smaller plane to the zero, but I was looking at the pilot figures, and i wonder if it's to small anyway. i might have to do some calculating and figure it out. Ive only got one 1/60 left (The 1D). i think the improvments id like would be: *Improved Landing gear system and design *Improved nose section *integrated slide out heat shield *swing bar legs *improved look of the heads *less di cst t avoid scratching and keep price and weight down *better locking backpacks *removable intake covers essentially the 1/48s, but smaller. Its a shame toy molds cant be shrunk down.
  16. We got the 0's at 60, we're getting the mac Plus valks at 60....But the old 1/60 VF-1's just dont live up to the same standard. Yamato has now perfected the tech for making the VF-1, so will we ever see 1/60 scale Valks again? Updated, better ones with the swingbar legs and the perfect transform? Before you scoff, remember that the Mac Plus valks have been out already and ina different scale, and post people are going in for round 2 because the new ones look ALOT better. And if we did get em, would you buy it? Me? Id be tempted to get one or two at least. Just so i had some all in the same scale that were as good as the newer products Yamato has put out.
  17. could it be attached to the missles on top? And then the missles attach somewhere? I dont know the plane well enough...
  18. the ghost pack maybe, but the valk is painted. U can see the kite logo and arm stripes.
  19. ah well. hopefully they will become available again soon
  20. ok, its happeend a few times now. The metal pins connecting the shoulder plates to the back plate keep sliding out of thir sockets. mainly the right shoulder, but the left just did it too. has anyone else had this, and how can i fix it?
  21. i wouldnt even dare to ask.... So where does one get those cool stands from? The clear ones witht he ajustable arms?
  22. WOO! My 0 arrived Well, the first one anyway... But the point is, the plane is here and looks GORGEOUS! I had a moment of panic when i saw the tailfins werent atached, but they snapped back into place straight away, and it probably saved the rear fin thingys anyway i havent transformed it yet, but im LOVING the fighter mode! edit: Ok I have transformed it now. SLIGHT moment of panic. Was changing and suddenly a metal pin fell out. i had a vague memory of some metal pin problems being mentioend here, so got a tad paniced. as it turns out, it was where the chestplate meets the top of the shoulder. How it slid out, I dont know. Its back in now, and all aseems well.... People are rigth about how loose it is, but otherwise I love it stunning toy!
  23. It should be ALOT cheaper. even if it is full sized to the 1/60, its one piece with a lot less detail and moving/removable parts. If it costs the same or close to it, count me out!
  24. dayum! that looks fantastic! the more pics i see the more i fall in love im thinking (To answer my own question earlier) thae head DOES move. It looks like there is enough of a gap to make it look up and down. Special features huh? removable clip on the gunpod maybe?
  25. The battroid could probably handle the ghost pack speeds for a time. I mean i wouldnt go crossing the atlantic in that mode, but for short bursts i think it could prove advantageous in combat.
