  1. Apparently my search skills suck. Thanks!
  2. Head laser was solid. This one won't be getting transformed. You can see the foot of the other one I have in Battroid. in the pic. I have one more I'll transform for Gerwalk. I didn't have any issues withe the first one I transformed. But I'll keep an eye out. Thanks for the heads up.
  3. As some of you now I just got back into this after almost a decade off. I still retained a Yamato 1/60 YF-19 from a decade or so ago. It has always been on display in a wooden bookcase. No protection from dust (I don't have much dust). It's never seen direct and possibly reflected sunlight. My office has northern exposure and there are trees in front of the window. Smoke free and temp controlled. The YF-19 is quite yellow. What are precautions if any that I can take with my new collection so I don't have 50 yellow valks in 10yrs? Thanks!
  4. Un-boxed this guy while on a conference call today.
  5. I've got me eye on a few. The 30-35K range seems pretty stable. I've spent some STUPID money on toys lately. I'm going to slow down a bit and only get stuff that is a really good deal (I'm mad I didn't jump on that Yamato Stealth 1/48 VF-1S w/S&S parts the other day). I'm pretty confident I'll be able to get the YF-30 in that $34-40K range at any time.
  6. I'm a retired national level motorcycle roadracer with a lot of championships, a mountain of podiums and even though I have been out of it for 12yrs I think I still have one 2 wheeled lap record to my credit. I have played on track with cars a couple times a year in the past 12yrs. But it's just not lighting my fire like the bikes did. And I can't touch a car that can run lap times like the bikes did. That said, I can drive the crap out of a manual, and I get the appeal. I've done track days with my buddies Spec Miata and despite having a raging 120hp it's pretty fun to drive. And you have better be good at manipulating manual trans. You're shifting a LOT. And only loss in momentum with the Mita you pay for in a big way. ALL THAT said, I have been spending time on track recently in my buddies GT3RS with the PDK (I think that's what it's called) and I got a chance to doe a few sessions in a 2020 GT500 with the DCT. If you want to put down the fastest laps possible (as a racer that's my drive) the DCT/PDK stuff is absolutely the way to go. So what do you want to do? Go as fast as you can? Or have a more visceral experience with a manual? It's not a right or wrong thing, it's a choice thing. As far as street cars go, I'm over the manual trans. The only time you will see me driving a manual on the street is behind the wheel of a very powerful muscle car. That's fun because things like smoking the tires off on a 3rd gear shift is a ton of fun. I've got a car in for some R&D right now that makes a touch over 1000 tom the tires. It's a manual. It's exciting/scary to drive. It will step out at 120mph if you're not careful. I wouldn't like the car as much with a manual. I'm rarely driving cars like that though. And if I am, it's to do some Hooning. As far as the market goes there is this. The 2020 GT500 was announced with the DCT. A huge portion of the community cried their eyes out that there wasn't a manual option (were to ones crying on the net every going to get one, probably not). Despite the Internets outward impression that everyone didn't like the DCT. The car sold out in about six seconds. Most of them going for $25-50K over retail. In this case, the market has spoken loud and clear. I say drive what makes you happy. There is no right or wrong. Judging someone's trans preference would be judging them for liking one flavor ice cream over another. Silly.
  7. He's super fun! I was stretching him all over the place last night. I got an arm and a leg to stretch about 5'! It didn't feel like it was being stressed at all. I didn't feel like working harder than that though.

I'm not really feeling it I guess. I wouldn't mind having one. But I'm not going to pay shipping on just one, it's not worth it to me. Is there a way at NY for you to designate that it ships with items from other orders or something? I'd pick one up for sure if I could bundle it with other purchases. Unfortunately there isn't anything on NY that I want right now. Or more specifically nothing I want that is at a price I'll pay, There are a few DX's I want, but not at their pricing. Plenty of other places to get the same for a lot less. I can't help but think there will be a lot available at release time fro great pricing.
  9. My wife was telling me the other night she missed a toy she had when she was a kid. A stretchy monster> I asked if it was like Stretch Armstrong. She didn't know who that was. So I poked around and it;'s by Kenner??? Whatever. They're all pretty much gone now because they broke open and leaked. Like my wife's. I found this guy (wasn't that hard) doing re-pops of the monsters and has a great reputation for durability. So I got here one. And presented her with it today. Her face was priceless. He's actually pretty cool.
  10. That's actually illegal in nine states.
  11. I don't do the "gotta have the whole fleet" thing much. I do the "I need one for every mode" thing. Sometimes in every scale. I love the Roy. I've got three 1/48's, three 1/60's, three HMR's and three Kitz Concepts (1/72??). I'll get three DX;s when they come out for sure. I'm kind of a un-box it, pose it and leave it kinda guy. Having non transforming/ non Macross toys is a bit easier on my wallet. That said, I have a ton of Mazingers........
  12. That's a model isn't it? I don't have time for that stuff. I spend half my day building things already. Who can turn me on to a minimum 6-7" tall version of this guy in "toy" form? I can't seem to come up with anything but models. Thanks!
  13. What is that! I need one!!!!! How big is that sucker? I'm going to start searching now........

Popped these out today. man, I love me some HMR. If you asked a few months ago I would have told you I'm a big toy guy. These have re-calibrated my likes. Now I'm a big and small toy guy. Not so much middle.
  15. Jealous.
  16. Popped two more of these out today. It's official. I'm a big toy and a little toy kinda guy. I love me some HMR's!
  17. Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Nice! That's on my list of must haves.
  18. That's what I would think too. Because it's a new segment is it going to blow itself out though? It will be interesting to watch. I would like to see it succeed wildly. I would love a VF-1S w/ S&S parts with the same treatment. Or a EVA-01. Or a Mazinger. We won't see any of that if there isn't a market.
  19. DHL is the house. Even though the packaging was SCARY. It showed up perfect.
