Tough one here, can´t decide which one is my favorite. I own all of them except for the VE-1 and VT-1 (which are on the way thanks to Kevin) and they´re all great!!!

Ok, I´ll go through the 13 pages and do the math. I´m through page 4 already, writing the quantities posted for each scale. Then I´ll sum. As Graham asked I´m counting the pieces bought, and whenever a post claims that X quantities are on the way I´m counting that too. I´m leaving the desired VF´s out of the addition. I´m busy right now, give me some time and I´ll post the result late this night.

Have not received mine yet but my vote goes for both the VE-1 and VT-1 Yamatos. Accuracy...

That´d be great! I have the Macross Design Works and the Perfect Memory, a MDW2 with new material such as the M0 mechas would be perfect. How about re-releasing the Gold Book? (must get it )

First of all, where did you hear that Yamato is pulling the 1/60 Monster? Second of all, why would smaller, transformable 1/48 Macross Plus Valkyries be out of the question if a huge toy like the 1/60 Monster was cancelled? AHHHH!!!!!! meant putting out (like unleashing) the Monster. Not pulling Guess I was sleeping when i was writting Really meant that if yamato is indeed making the Monster (which I´m gonna buy!) there´s no question/doubt that smaller 1/48 Mac Plus valks could see the light of day. Must take English classes, should´ve written my reply in Spanish or German to make myself clear Go away engrish!!!!!!

I´m with you mate!!! For a VF line I´d kill for a 1/48 YF 21 (among my three favorite designs, being the VF 1X and the SW-XA1 the other two) so I voted Mac Plus. If Yamato is pulling the 1/60 MkII Monster, 1/48 Plus valks are out of the question PERIOD!!!!

I love all of my 1/60´s (desperately waitng till my VE and VT arrive). Like others said I like the proportions of the 1/60´s better: 1. Better canopy and slightly better nosecone (the 1/48 canopy is too bulbous and kinda kills the front view of the fighter) 2. Correct proportions of the arms (the 1/48 upper arms are long and thin) 3. Right size of the tail fins (on the 1/48 the tail fins are on the small side, shorter) 4. All in all the 1/60 has better proportions for it´s three modes. 5. I like the VF 1A and VF 1J heads more than the 1/48. On the other side I must say that the VF 1S head of the 1/48 puts the 1/60 head to shame, and the seamline doesn´t bother me at all. 6. It´s gonna be the most complete line (waiting for the Q-Rau and Monster) Making the 1/48 justice: 1. It´s a better put togheter/finished toy, barely noticeable seamlines, smooth sculpt with lot of detail (air brake, removable engine covers, highly detailed landing gears and landing doors) 2. Perfect transformation (nothing has to be removed, not even the heatshield). 3. Better connecting hardpoints for the weapons. 4. The Fast Packs are incredible, no words to decribe them (all the detail and features put into them), they´re also the right size (the 1/60´s are on the small side). Proportion wise I like how the 1/60 looks against the 1/48. In fighter mode with the "fast packs attached" the 1/48 looks better than the 1/60 (however the 1/60 like I said has better nosecone and canpy). Owing the two scales is a win-win situation IMHO.

I was thinking, perhaps the reason its so delayed is that perhaps they are debating just skiping the 1/72 scale and making it 1/60th or 1/48th That´d be great! 1/60 sounds pretty good, or even 1/48. I´d like an upgrade to 1/60.

I like all of my 1/60´s And what a collection with the Monster and the Q-Rau!!!! Can´t wait for those two.

AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! When will my VT-1, VE-1 and 1/48 Fast Packs arrive? The wait is killing me <_<

Everything is removable, except for the piece that connects the radar dish to the backpack. You can´t dettach that arm. It´s fine by me cause no matter what mode I´ll display my VE I´ll leave the armor on (that´s what makes this valk unique)
