Someone already posted that the plastic used is the same as their VF-2SS foray. Knowing that, I decided to really not to get this figure.

How I wish. @Saburo charges a lot for training sessions. Hahaha! (Just kidding, Saburo. ) I know I'm not in-par with you guys here when it comes to toy photography. But coming from you means a lot. Thanks man! It is, right? It's so nice to mix and match the SP packs on the J and F. I had a great time trying which part of the Super Parts that's going to look right for the J Kai. Actually, I was considering to use at first all the black SP on the 31J Kai. But after inspecting it in all angles, the black kind of dominates it. It makes you forget the blue painted areas. Especially when in side view profile which I forgot to take photos of it. And that's where I started to mix and match the black and blue SP's. You can tell that it becomes more black than blue. This is because the fuselage have more black linings now. Under carriage looks better when I replaced the thigh and arm parts with black armors. I kept the blue arm armor at first but it's too blue for my taste. After that, I checked what's best on the top since it's just the boosters and the chest armor. The only problem for me is the chest armor since from the top it looks ok with the black chest armor part. But once you view it sideview, it's too black. And the fuselage have blue lining so the hard color transition from blue to black it doesn't feel right. I'll probably try to incorporate blue and black to the chest armor if ever just to have a good color transition. I might end up doing it like this.

This is awesome. Reminds me of the Yamato VF-1J transformation display. If you're asking the original line (VF Hi-Metal), no. Both of them however were renewed in the Hi-Metal R line initial releases. But as of this moment there's no info if those two are getting reissues.

I'm just happy to know that Arad will have Armored Parts to this movie. Hence the chance of his Valk to made it to DX form is enough for me. -
I only realize that the small ride armor figures is not scaled with the pilot figure. That's weird. And it's cool to find out that he's comparing the figure to Jenius' Anymoon's scale photo at 33:30.

Hey Recon. Thanks! I don't have a full Messer SP on the 31J Kai. But I'll see what I can do. Yeah, they always require pay upfront for the Charge 1. Say even if you're using their service for YJA bidding. They will ask you to deposit the Charge 1 amount. They will hold that payment and refund you if ever you didn't win or something. As for the Tamashii Lottery one, I think it's kind of the same way when you buy exclusives at Nippon-Yasan, we're obliged to pay it upfront even the release is months away. The only question I have is that, if ever you didn't win, would they refund the money back to your bank/credit card or it will convert to like 'FJ Credit' that you can only use at their site. If they will refund it, I think it's fine to join the lottery. If only I have extra cash and it's not Christmas season, I'll probably join the lottery for 'just in case'.

More Kaneda's Bike goodness. Loving it. Seeing the bike in 'live' action, makes my heart skip a beat. And I'm really glad that I bought that PBM Bike a year ago.

True. To be honest, most P-Bandai stuff are obtainable as long that you preordered it the first time. The only downside of this is that it's limited so basically once it gets released, there's a small chance that it will get reissue and most online stores hike the price after the initial release. And yes, I don't like the monochrome boxes.

My custom VF-31J Kai with Super Packs. I really like the mix of blue and black parts on the bottom. I'm still deciding whether to go with blue or black on the chest parts. Or I might mix them both. We shall see.
