Not 100% sure. But sometimes I notice one of their ‘graphics icon or buttons’ in the item page changes color. So I have a feeling they give ‘warning’ somehow that the item will stop getting preorders but no specific dates when. So my advice is for anyone who still having second thoughts and wait till past January, if you can squeeze it out from your budget, better preorder now before feeling sorry later. But then again, if you missed it, make sure you buy one after it gets released with a slight marked up price from NY. Think of it like you just need to pay your credit card purchase ‘interest’. And in the end, atleast you have a set copy.

To make it short, Metal Build Strike Freedom is 1/100 scaled and has a stylized redesigned look. While the Metal Damashii Strike Freedom is officially non-scaled but it’s close to 1/144 scale and more in-line with how it was shown in anime. Think of it like an upgrade version of the first release Strike Freedom figure under the Robot Damashii line. I just checked D4 site and somehow it only offers FedEx option for US residents. And the total cost ends up somehow close/or $10 more compared to other online stores. Yes, the PO price is great but the shipping cost will kill you. Actually the dollar price posted on their site is close to HLJ’s dollar price for PO.

Good thing I remember this. I was waiting for anything that will come out the same month as the Super Parts so I can order it with. But alas, there’s nothing besides the MB Astraea which i already PO in a different store. Oh well, there goes my Y11000.

I have to admit it was a great price. Would like to get it with that price but I didn’t. Up to now, I’m still having a hard time processing the MB ‘redesigned’ look. -
Hey David! As for non-Macross HMR stuff, they just post it under the Anime or Science Fiction section. But no general thread yet for all HMR releases. FYI, there’s already a Dougram and Xabungle HMR threads under that section too.

I’m not familiar with D4 Toys. This is the first time I heard of this. I checked their policy page and they claim they’re subgroup under Sen-ti-nel. And they do have a good preorder price. Better wait for someone who has experience ordering from them. If not, it’s either you wait for other known online shop to have restock by January or gamble and preorder one with D4. Let’s hope they accept Paypal so you have 180 days protection.

Sorry, I don’t have a regular Arcadia release nor previous Yamato release of 1/3000 SDF-1. I’m just waiting for the premium release this coming April. So the decal #8 is the Macross City skyline? I just hope that Arcadia applied that as well as part of the premium finish release.
