Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

I envy you. I only realize this eBay thing after you mentioned this one on the thread. I should've owned 2 Orguss II CF now. -
It is. And you know what sucks the most is that when you try to report it to your credit card, and after you get reimbursed, they will just block your account. How pathetic is that, right? For sure they just don't care even if how many times you bought from them. Anyways, don't want everyone to get dragged about this. So I'm just going to share this. Found at Twitter. It's a Hasegawa kit but I do like the grey color used.

I have to be, sir. I mean, they're the only option for me to get exclusive items so I don't have a choice. I already lost a package from them May of last year, and up until now there's no word if I will get reimbursed with their Registered SAL insurance. I mean, I already lost $30 difference if I will get reimbrused. And here I am, still waiting. Imagine that if you purchased an exclusive release DX Valk and will just get Y6000 insurance of it from using Registered SAL. And probably will also wait for a year or so to get reimburse. It's frustrating, right? Anyways, I'm just tired of waiting from them but it is what it is. And after reading people's comments that sometimes they ship the package a week after, which I find it very fristrating, I'm just done with it. Now I only just wait. Yes, they do have cheap prices during initial release compared to others but their overall service really suck.

Yup. Same here. Ordered at NY. And from what I remember everyone posted here about NY, they do take their sweet time sometimes before shipping it even if you choose EMS. Some mentioned the preparation even took a week before it got shipped. So at this point in time, I'm not even gonna bother to complain. I'll just wait until it reaches my doorsteps.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
no3Ljm replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I assumed it kind of got back, right? I mean the first movie end with him smiling when he was staring at Queenie. Maybe he started to recognize her or triggered something in his memories.- 44 replies

I'm with you on this. Can't explain why. But I love rewatching Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them than the first 2 Harry Potter movies.- 44 replies

Why not, right? Bandai should also consider a PG Nu-Gundam too while they're at it.

New modular sci-fi diorama system for action figure displays
no3Ljm replied to tekering's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Hmmm. With some modifications, that setup is a good diorama display for this: Wouldn't you guys agree? -
Ouch. My bad. I was absent the whole time during humor class. For sure, the reason for that SAP 'green' is to somehow keep it in-line with TV's VF-1 Super Parts. So that the watching crowd for MacII can tell it's been done by the same team even though it's not.

See. Seriously. Those designs are begging to get transformed into Gerwalk and Battroid modes. But please not into something how Cutlass look. -
I doubt that since the 31's are colorful. That lovely green works ok on white Valk. Just sayin'.

But I want those cool looking Yukikaze planes to be able to transform. And we need Kawamori's touch to it. Hehehe. -
I wonder how 31's Armored Pack look if it's painted in traditional neutral color like the VF-1's GBP and Messiah's Armored Pack?

You know what. Bandai should just bundle an attachment pylon for Lil Drakens with the VF-31's Armored Pack set. So that I could just attached from time to time the Lil Drakens to the 31's since I don't want it on the Draken. Hehehe.

Even if there's no prototype yet, I'm really concern on the swivel joints for Armored VF-31S Booster's Missile Pods.

Any chance the Yukikaze planes were designed by Kawamori? Sorry, I didn't check google first while typing this. But it would be nice to see a similar design based on these birds that transforms into Gerwalk and Battroid. It would probably look awesome for sure. And for me as of now, there's no point on buying these Alter models as long that it's the same size or scale as my 1/60 or DX Valks. I understand the concern for these stands since I don't like it too. But for sure those stands are designed to be practical and cost-effective that can hold a 2lbs +/- (that's an estimate) transforming Valk. Probably even if they follow the Alter stands, for sure it will still have a wider base and thicker plastics to hold the said Valks. Not to mention if it can be articulated since we need to screw those first. Anyways, if you really want a cool looking stand that's also articulated like Alter's, look no further. Just click the link for YetiStands. -

TBH, that bird is so awesome. So awesome, it really needs to transform. -
Yes, it has a hole. I only suggested it for a quick fix. So that you don't need to take it out the part if you want to put back the Super Pack hip armor.
-
From what I remember if that's a Renewal release, the hip armor that came with the Super Parts option set can be separated from the Super Pack part.
-
Nah. They're going to let this one slide. It's the YF-19's, not VF-1's.
