  1. Awesome find. I'm really getting turned onto Yamato's Ingram. The only thing disturbing me is how much this going to cost.
  2. Yup it should be a completely newly designed toy not based off any kits out there as there was only that old fragile gakken toy that barely surfaced the light of the day. Jenius I can't wait too see your review of it keep up the great toy reviews!
  3. Well after looking at Overdrive's coverage of WF 2008 it looks like CM's going to make a Brave Gokin 25 version of this Linebarrel mecha. Look at the photos too see what I mean. Thanks again Overdrive.
  4. I have to say Houquet's has a much better look to it and the finish is much stronger than on CM's previous ride armors. If they made improvements in tightness to her mold I just might pick her up. In more ways than one.
  5. New pictures of the beagle from WF 2008 and CM's Houqet figure is up. Thanks to Yaco's blog Beagle's ride armor is claimed from the item tag to be 24,000 yen.
  6. I'd love too see beagle's attempt at a legioss + tread set. Maybe 3rd time's the charm. Go Beagle!!
  7. Nice where did you pre-order from?
  8. Yup. Its official that those votes are seeming to be just BS and people playing with the voting system. If its broken please tell us so we could prevent ourselves from making the same mistakes. Either way I'm happy with my rock of a VF-1S so I'll continue to buy some from this line.
  9. To me its THE Ironman figure to get.
  10. Yep mine had a few dings on the corner of box, nothing major, but a little scary to say the least.
  11. My HLJ shipping was kind of like yours as well where they just put it in a box and wrapped a thin plastic wrap over it. Is HLJ skimping on their packaging now? No bubble wrap, no peanuts no air cushions just a little plastic wrap?
  12. Well Toynami's release of the Beagle will be only $130-$140? Yet Beagle is still trying to release their version that they made for about $180-$200. I'll definitely have to wait and see what price is going to be final. Cool toynami's comes with another head (beagle's looks nice already), but my problem being is the uncertainty of quality from beagle and toynami. Personally I'd just like it if toynami kept the original packaging of the beagle and just slap their sticker on it. Still its too early tell anything. As for the betas at least from the video the toynami representative said the connection would be strong, but not strong enough to turn upside down and do barrow rolls with. If I heard right it cups into the alpha.....which sounds like CM's horrible linkup I think I might just stick with my CM's tread thank you very much.
  13. Well we just had a 5.4 earthquake in LA. and man my VF-1S was on my shelf still standing tall.
  14. Perfect all around. Excellent job Yamato!!
  15. Wow what a jerk, I would of shot that guy in the foot for saying that crap too me.
  16. What about the whole MPC line in general. A decent effort, but pure and utter fail in every department of the toys. If your going to make something look great it better last!
  17. I don't know Toynami's Beta fighter looks great, but I can already see that the hands are made out of that lame rubbery plastic that broke easily on the alpha. Link up looks a lot better, but does the toy itself really hold up like the CMS?
  18. Whoa momma! Finally a picture of a very correct looking fighter mode with all the landing gear deployed and the back portion of fighter mode transformed correctly. We need bigger pictures. Keep refining Bandai. Good work so far.
  19. Ok that last picture has me a little worried. However I wonder how much force that person really used on it. Seriously when I held it at AX that shoulder joint felt quiet sturdy and it held up all the days people were handling it. Additionally could this be a choice of bad material, if so why haven't we seen more breakages at the shoulder for the 1/48 as their designed so similarly. Yamato should consider making most of the joints metal to prevent something like this from ever happening. So far, 1 person with a missing head and swing bar damage and this shoulder incident. If there is anymore of this non sense I'm not impressed with Yamato's quality control. The most recent valks were perfect (Nora, YF-21, VF-0 w/ghost, YF-19 W/ booster etc) why does this re hash of the beloved VF-1 have these problems. I hope the incidents will stop coming in.
  20. Ok, now I'm a little scared as I just ordered mine from HLJ. Someone hold my hand.
  21. Honestly did Bandai really have to pose the VF-25 in such an awkward position? I think this thing is still prototype as the material still looks like resin. I hope we receive some more official photos with better poses than this.
  22. Excellent review Graham and thanks to David for posting it. I think I will feel safe to buy this set now. I wonder if I should liquidate my 1/48's.
  23. Hey Swoosh does your VF-1S have any quality issues at all? Is it nice and tight? I hope this first run is perfect so far.
  24. Woot! Thanks for the pictures swoop its the sex bomb!
