Just got mine today. After transforming both of the guys I have to say the armo-bomber mode is nice and solid. In addition the tread also has ratchets in the shoulders! However the legioss in fighter mode is really quite disappointing. On mine the wings and arms aren't really the problem. The front of the fighter mode doesn't lock in on mine, the two pegs simply aren't enough in my opinion. For those of you guys who have the set could do you guys have any tips on how to make the front more secure?

I can't wait to get mine. Just got an email from Overdrive saying that my order is now processing.

I wonder if the loose joints on the legioss are fixable? Maybe a few turns of a screw?

Thanks for your replies Alex. Honestly I hope mine doesn't come with loose hands or loose part fitting. However I don't like the part where you said the Toynami feels more like a solid toy. I'm also kind of disappointed that there is only ratchet joints within the hips. I would of liked the thing to be fully ratcheting and clicky. Although I am glad to hear there isn't a huge gap under the legioss in fighter mode. I can't wait to get mine. I hope Overdrive gets them in and ships them out this coming week!

- Could you tell us where the ratchet joints are located on both the tread and legioss? - Do all the parts line up well? -Is there a huge gap under the legioss in fighter mode? - How's the connection? - Do the hands fold in via trap door?

Hmmm I can't wait to see more pictures. I have to say though isn't it funny how a Japanese toy comes in Hong Kong before coming out in Japan? Ah this world is always a bundle if irony.

As the one and only SUPERHobo on the net I am glad to see the name of hobo passed around. However you have all forsaken the name to comparison of a poor lonely drunk. So I smite all which to the fiery depths of hell, dangling from a spider's web over a pit of fire so hot your skin ignite into flames! Just canceled my HLJ order. In the end I only pay $260 US for the set all to do now is to play the waiting game.

I think I'm going to try Over-Drive as the price is a lot more welcoming than my early bird order at HLJ and Over-Drive seems respectable. Over-Drive here I come.

What do you guys think i should do stay with my early bird HLJ order or cancel it and then place an order with Over-drive? Knowing HLJ this set will probably exceed $300 with shipping included,while Over-drive would be the opposite. However I'm unfamiliar with Over-drive. Any opinions?

I'm thinking about putting some rubber between the ball joint and the socket. Hopefully that works.

Well at least you guys seem to have a decent MPC Voltron. I bought mine about a month ago and when I opened it up everything was fine until I reached the black lion. Apparently someone at the factory make the ball joint for the black lion's head secure enough into the socket. On mine the head just moves freely without any friction stopping it. Although the head doesn't fly off the socket it rather just can't hold a pose and can only look at the direction gravity is pulling it. Very disappointing after hearing how solid the MPC Voltron was.

Heh. Maybe CMs shouldn't make the legioss + tread at all and we could all go on living without one for the next 20 years and we can all just sit back and drool at our Yamato valks. Or maybe we can drool at our broken toynami alphas in light of anything better on the market. The Gakken 1/35 legioss is still king and looks it will remain king for quite some time to come.I'm not taking CMs side as I don't take anyone's side because no one deserves to be defended if they can't even stand on their own feet!

Ok even though I agree that this set shouldn't be $250 I think you guys are being overly critical about the design of the set. Lets all just wait and see from the reviews. This thing should be coming out in a few weeks and I'm very excited to see that the final product will be like. Be nice its only a toy.
