OK, I finally acquired a Low Vis 1 and am wondering who has applied the toy's stickers to it? How do they look? I know that the stealth valk stickers look just plain bad (transparent edges on a black background). Should I even bother applying the stickers, or leave them new in the box to retain the value of the toy?

Holy smokes! There is certainly some interest in this toy All I may have is a Japanese address to ship to. I haven't even found out how to get it stateside affordably. I think shipping will be pretty expensive. Then again, it's looking like this valk will make the LV1 look reasonably easy to acquire.

I have a friend in Japan I'll ship it to. I'm just wondering how difficult the order page is to navigate. Amazon.jp, for instance, is pretty straightforward. What about Yamato?

So, how challenging will it be to order one of these valks on April 1? Do you think there will be a direct order link on the above-mentioned web page? Who has ordered items through Yamato's website before and how did it go?

I got lucky. LAFtoys had shut down preorders but someone cancelled. Thus, I have my pre-order in for $212 and their shipping (compared to any on Ebay) is reasonable.

So who is pre-selling this toy? And, can you find one for $200 (before shipping) or is that just a dream?

Just out of curiosity, what all do you get with this toy? I assume the figure, gunpod, and display stand. Is there anything else for your $200+?

So, how about the second run? Were the above-mentioned problems fixed in that release?

Personally, I think Nora's "bird-of-prey" markings make this valk really stand out. Isn't it the cloud pattern on the low vis 1 that every one rants about because it's unique? I'm certainly impressed with any color scheme that features more than a solid color paint job.

Very excited! Just got my Nora type yesterday. It looks absolutely stunning with the dark magenta coloring and Tampo'd "bird of prey" markings. I'd even go so far as to say it's probably the second best color scheme/design next to the VF-1A Low-Vis 1. Also, everything is snugger than the first run Ivanov.

Aargh!!! My SV-51 Nora is currently in-state at the post office, but didn't make it with today's mail. Must...wait...until tomorrow! :o

Does anyone know if there is any chance to getting a review to any of the SV-51 releases as there will be at least three variants? It seems like some of the issues that concerned the Ivanov release may or may not have been resolved in the Nora release.

Well, I just don't have a girlfriend or wife, problem solved But, seriously, I bought up a bunch of Star Wars CCG (Decipher) booster boxes and have been sittting on them watching the price go up on Ebay as this OOP game becomes more scarce. To fund my SV-51 Nora I sold off a complete set of Coruscant for about $180 on Ebay. Also, most of my valks were purchased before I got my mortgage. I have only five valks in my collection: the four from Macross Zero, and VF-1A Stealth. I'd like a YF-19 but it isn't high priority. Also, I'd love a Low-Vis 1, but cannot in my right mind justify $300+ for a nice color scheme.

A question to those of you who already have both versions of the SV-51...what is the color difference in missiles and armaments for the two. The Nora's look like an off-white, whereas Ivanov's is a light grey. Can anyone post a pic with side-by-side comparisons please?

I got tired of waiting for HLJ to get this toy in stock since so many other companies have it already, and cancelled my order with them. Then, I bought it from HoHoToys through Ebay ($210 shipped) and it's in the mail.

Has HLJ shipped any pre-orders yet?

BTW, Amazon Japan is taking preorders of the toy for a reasonable 18,500 yen ($163) and with free shipping. Problem is they won't ship outside of Japan.

Yikes! I'm running out of money. But, this is the mech that inspired me to get into this expensive/obsessive hobby. Obviously, it's a must-have purchase.

OK, so it's a given most of us are gonna buy this toy. But, who has preorders already? And, who has the best price?

Has anyone noticed their SV-51's (in fighter mode) gun magazine not sitting completely centered when positioned between the two halves of the fighter/legs? I think I have my four tabs lined up correctly. I can lock one side perfectly into place, but can't tell if the other side is sitting properly. Anyway, it looks a little off. Is it just me, or is it a minor design issue? I noticed the head spike also is not completely centered either.

BTW, I don't know if anyone mentioned it but HLJ has the item listed as "In Stock" on their website.
