  1. Yea going for the first batches of 3rd parties (same be said about official company) to beat later demand prices can be risky because you wouldn't know the quality. Ya the design is very. The original design needs a lot of help, lol.
  2. I got it when it initially dropped iirc about $115 shipped. The prices have since gone up because of crazy demand and people have been flipping them. It's a great build! Yes it's similar to a Hi-Res, but imo better. The inner frame alone is appx 3/4 diecast whereas a Hi-Res is like 1/5th at most. The backpack takes about as long if not just a tad longer than the frame (because of the pre-built). Mecha Gaikotsu did a great review of it, so did Zaku Aurelius Oh and MG does note about the flaws of the kit. You cannot complete dual scythes because one will be missing the blue outer frame parts for it (ZG only provides one set. Yet two beam effects, one diecast scythe handle and two plastic scythe handles). Oh yea and don't look up the custom color variations builders have done... most of them will just make you want the kit more, lol.
  3. I heard rumor was that Daban was working on a KO MS Nu, but dunno about improving its articulation. Also probably minimal/none/or less diescast than the actual MS Nu.
  4. That would be hot. Was funny too because I was just thinking about the same then saw your reply. I told myself don't look up pics of the two for comparison. It'd just make me want them both more, lol. AHAHAHAH... lol. Bandai and their bandaid rehashing schemes. XD
  5. XD Count taken from: https://gundam.fandom.com/wiki/Metal_Build#Regular I may have missed some? but did my best to manually count them form the categories... Seems like they were all p-bandaid. EDIT OMG missed the first two under regular release, don't know how I f'd that up. I was wondering why I was looking at the list and thought to myself 'wth why'd bandai start with transam as the first release? that dont seem right...' LOL. So it looks like 10 variations so far, not including this 'X' version (11 now): Regular 2013 Exia repair 3 2013 Exia repair 2 Exclusive 2014 trans am exia 2014 avalanche exia 2014 avalanche exia (weapon plus pack), included are the option parts which could be purchased separately 2018 10th anniversary edition exia 2018 astrea type-f (gn heavy weapon set), not included(?) Avalung option set 2019 astrea + proto gn high mega launcher 2020 astrea high maneuver test pack 2020 exia repair 4
  6. I heard... they said he passed in his sleep. It's sad and I just don't know what to say other than he was great and will be missed.
  7. That SS looks nice as hell. I'll probably have to save up for him and hope to score one down the road. Oh wow...! I'll have to watch this one later. From what I've read a good number have cancelled and others who cant afford plan to finish completing their existing orders (to not lose their NRDs) and then contemplate their options later. Aiyah... thank you very much for looking out! Good news is that the Sideshow rep who assisted me yesterday put a ticket through to their returns/exchange dept and I got a response from them today. Even though it was wayyyy beyond the 30 day coverage window they're going to honor a replacement (2-3wks eta) without the need for me to send the original back. I'm glad that worked out. Worse case scenario was that I would just airbrush over it with my best attempt for a match.
  8. Yea it was a long shot, but I contacted SS just before for a part exchange and sent over the pic above and highlighted/circled the indicated area. I only inspected it and for any missing parts when I received it and (under the anticipation of the future headsculpt exchange program) I placed it back in the box immediately. It's been sitting there ever since. Yea there were a lot more I wanted to get at the time too, but had to resist due to all the anticipated future releases. Ahh geezz... thanks. I started reading the first two pages of that thread and got caught up in other things. I briefly checked the page from my phone earlier and the page count jumped, lol.
  9. NICE! Yea I ended up skipping on WarPun, and on the fence about MK47. I got WMMK6 from AmiAmi on a 40%(?) off sale (listed as new, unopened) and used ferry ship at the time. It was double taped on the bottom (opened previously), but upon inspection there was no damage, wear, etc. I couldn't complain for 40% off.
  10. Damn I was under quarantine back in Feb when I got my IM MK85 from them with a sratch/blemish on the chest plate. I was going to msg them and go through the hassle but figured I could paint, polish it over myself. The shipper box i got the MK85 in was unopened and I requested a double box. I think it was done at the HT's factory.
  11. Yes I agree. It's not. I was made aware because I checked mwf and @Sanity is Optional was kind enough to post a reply with info. I then checked twitter, and emails. PBUS sent or I received the email yesterday appx 7:42pm EST (just shy of an hr notice). PBUS has a horrible notification system and the same thing happened with the RG Eva 01 Night Combat (I missed out on that one completely). PBUS really should at least give a day notice not 1+hr.
  12. Yes exactly! Sideshow causing panic and artificial demand for their contract/distribution/license agreement they have with HTs, lol. I guess they're trying to starve the competition lol.
  13. Sorry, it's the Exclusive editions (not collectors) they're removing from their site after July 25th. There's a timer countdown when you go to the product and select 'Exclusive'. AFAIK for each of the following: Iron Strange (Sword) Armored DeadPool (Arm cannon) Blackwidow (Taskmaster shield) Iron Man Mk1 (Metal helmet) Boba Fett Repaint Armor [both versions with and without throne] (Holo Razor Crest & Holo Fett Slave Ship) maybe others I missed?
  14. Wow... Sideshow just announced on their livestream that they're pulling the Collector's Edition for the new releases on July 25th for the con. Afterwards only the regular editions will be available. And... the viewers are spamming the live chat with the Toyswonderland drama, because the big bossy boss boss mentioned something about 'drama' but didn't directly say what it was, LOL.
  15. Yea it's going to be reallly bad. But for the DBZ figs and what I saw on their stream last week there's a limit of 2 per piece per transaction. So four characters and one base set, meaning 8 total (2 of each) and 2 bases per transaction. IIRC they said the limit per account was 12 or 24 of one particular figure (ie. 12 gokus) before the account hits a limit. So if one buyer wanted 12 gokus they would need to run 6 separate transactions and pay 10$ shipping 6 times, no combined shipping with previous orders. Yea bluefinbrand and pbandaius put up a tweet a few hours before listing them on the site.
  16. Yea same, it was real bad. No confirmation page... only thrown an error page. Checked my pp acct and the charge showed up immediately. The order appeared like 5 minutes later on PBUS. At X:19 was when my email order conf came in.
  17. yea it was a blood bath... its still available for 3rd batch on pbandaijp.
  18. Ya i figured it was lower (around msrp), but azjp sells out fast and allows resellers to list immediately. a bit of a catch 22 for eager buyers that just keep clicking the add to cart and checkout without looking at the numbers. One could accidently buy an inflated price, lol.
  19. Yea... hlj and ae use to offer lower prices... not sure if its because of the tax (but prob is) or just to recoup the costs of their services (people cancelling on them, etc). The scalping/inflated prices I was referring to was azjp's relistings by 3rd parties. 40+k already.
