No kidding. But wait for the 1/48 GBP. That will be something. There are going to be some possible custom conversion kits for the 1/48s to change them to VE and VT later on in the year if all goes as planned. Methinks a release of Max VF-1J will come out soon. I just got this gut feelin.

Just think about it, the Low Vis is a perfect base valkyrie for the Elintseeker. Make you wish that there were more of them.....

Hi Capt! We're just talking about the structure of the tailfins of the VT and VE and the alignment of the backpack. I was wondering if the current booster sections of the FAST packs could be compatible for the VT and VE custom. I was thinkin that I could still use the booster and put on the new anterior sections (like those round thingys for the VT) . Or do you plan on making a whole new FAST Packs design?

Just wondering about this post. Can we use the existing NP-FP-01 FAST Pack booster base for this project? I got 6 TV FAST Packs I want to get rid of, but if we can use the boosters for the VT and VE, then I'll keep them. But since the VE and VT's tail fins aren't folded flat, wouldn't that make the boosters sit at an incredibly awkward angle? You'd need to find a way to turn the metal pegs that hold the boosters to the backpack if you wanted to keep them in line with the rest of the valk. Of course, this won't be a problem if you fold the tail fins, but that's not accurate for the VE and VT. You just want me to sell them don't ya? True about what you say though. But we haven't decided whether to go the Bandai way or the Yamato way yet.

Possibly and that person may have just given it to their kid or nephew/niece as well. So it may be broken by now Agh! what a waste of such a rare item if that happens. But I am sure some collector would probably have tried tracking down the winner to buy it off them. Dude, that hurts to think of the possibilities that could happen to that toy. *sigh* But then again, whoever won it has the rights to do whatever they want with it. Let's just hope it gets the respect it deserves.

Yes there is a difference. Hikaru VF-1J TV FAST Packs: green-grey colour only NP-BP-01 Packs available. No ROX-2A Strike Cannon Forearm FP Parts are angular. Like this |_/ DYRL? FAST Packs: green-blue colour Both NP-BP-01/02 available (i.e. includes Strike Cannon) Forearm FP Parts are shaped like this \_/

Oh my god. I totally forgot about that. This is gonna look so STUPID on the low-viz! Ohhhh MaaaaaaaAAAAAaannn!! Just paint the shoulder pads low vis grey. Will it really look stupid? Most of the armour is dark grey-blue after all.

Well, the original announcement was that there would be both a bundle and a stand-alone pack, but now I'm not so sure. The info plate makes no mention of a VF-1J set, only a 8000yen GPB pack. Since there are still 1/48`s on shelves here in Japan, maybe they dont want to oversaturate the market with 3 different boxes with the same VF-1J in it? They know full well the dangers of oversaturation. From auctions it seems most of the 1/48s are the supers Max and Miryas mainly. I'm ok if they don't do a bundle but simply reissue the VF-1J. If that is the case, then in a few months it will definitely be right to release a new product. It make it a lot easeir for people to find new valks. I wouldn't be surprised if Max got a rerelease next year. Max sold like hot cakes in his VF-1J form. Renato, if you have read that the VF-1J is going to be bundled, then I'll believe you. After all, you read that off the original article in the DH mag didn't you?
