  1. It is the same ratio. But here's the thing...it's by mass not volume. So you need a very precise scale in order to do small volumes.
  2. There are SO many books on building and painting model aircraft that you shouldn't have to go through the pain us self-trained builders had to. But you learn more from mistakes than you would think.
  3. It's a DVD/BD release that will get a later telecast.
  4. I've been cranking along on that Volks 1/32nd scale LED Mirage bust.
  5. I think this machine is excellent for making parts that are mechanically functional. But I don't think the plastic used is very sandable. The layer thickness of 0.010" is way too fat for what I would want yoo. That's just like layering up styrene sheets by hand. http://www.develop3d.com/uploaded_images/P...-RGB-716919.jpg http://www.develop3d.com/uploaded_images/T...-RGB-799882.jpg http://fadedmirror.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/uprint2.jpg http://www.huv.com/blog/uploaded_images/Na...rint-757810.jpg I noticed that a lot of the sample photos are fuzzy.
  6. Here are some samples of the Wax printing process; http://www.expertbusinesssource.com/articl...08/bracelet.jpg http://www.faceters.com/askjeff/boblynn_solidscape.shtml http://www.pacificlocomotive.com/ And a link for more generalized reference; http://replicatorinc.com/blog/2008/11/10-t...ers-can-do-now/
  7. What kind of unit are you thinking of? I'm looking into having some wax printing done in the next year or so. Those machines seem to be quite the thing.
  8. I want a TV interior too.
  9. Too bad what it does to your underwear. You should try ChipotleWay.
  10. I haven't had it done in a while but it wasn't too terrible for a sheet of 11" X 14".
  11. When I Google for Overdrive toys I just get Power Rangers crud. Gotta link?
  12. I loved the second manufacturer's versions of the miniatures. They were almost to the level of the FASA Trek mini's that were super finely detailed.
  13. Not only does John need a break, (I'm just making an assumption here.) My credit needs one too.
  14. After he enjoys a MUCH deserved rest. I would put the two male power suits at the top of my Moscato wish list.
  15. The parts and instructions are on Hobbysearch now.
  16. Amen sister. I mean brother. It's fabulous. p.s. I do actually like the high heal Mortar Head designs.
  17. Mine too. They are amazing. Top notch for sure. I would highly recommend these parts and decals to anyone.
  18. I would buy a Bodolza and Breetai.
  19. It would be best as a prepainted vinyl figure anyway.
  20. You could just take some brass tube and file a sharp edge on one end and use that as a punch. Also stack up the tape so that each punch gives you multiple masks. I was thinking you could use some tubes as missile masks too.
  21. Polyurethane is a casting resin used in garage kit.
  22. I don't see why it would be anything but Polystyrene with polycarbonate polycaps.
  23. It looks to be a complete pain to do that way. If money isn't an issue I'd go with the DX toy to have that gimmick.
  24. Yeah. Did it anyway.
